I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director and lead physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam, near Sinnonhyeon Station. I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I am a member of the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Medicine and the Korean Filler Society. I focus on lifting and anti-ageing care, and Oligio is one of the RF treatments I plan and perform myself, so I see each Oligio before and after in person.
Before booking, most patients search Oligio before and after and arrive with a folder of other people's photos. Their real question is simple: what will my face look like, and when? This page answers that honestly, including the faces where I expect only a small change, and shows you how to take your own photos so you can judge the result fairly.
What an Oligio before and after picture can and cannot prove
Oligio delivers monopolar RF energy deep into the skin to stimulate collagen. That is a slow biological process, so a single photo pair hides most of the story: when it was taken, under what light, after how many shots. I do not show invented result photos, and I would be wary of any page that promises a specific change.
Shot count matters too. What 100, 300 and eye 200 shots are each sized for is explained in my Oligio price guide by shot count; read that alongside this page, because the plan shapes the after.
Day one to month three: the change I expect, and the change I don't
The early tight feeling often fades a little within days. Patients sometimes read that as the treatment wearing off. It is not; it is the immediate heat effect settling, while the slower collagen response is only beginning.
Faces that show a visible change, and faces that show little
- Clearer change: early jowls, mild laxity along the jaw, crepey skin on the lower face, early looseness around the eyes for eye Oligio.
- Modest change: heavy sagging, deep folds, very thin or very loose skin.
- Little change from RF alone: volume loss that makes the face look hollow, where sagging is not the main issue.
For the people in the last two groups, my honest answer is that Oligio alone will probably disappoint. The overview of who suits Oligio in general is in my first-timer guide to Oligio in Korea.
I would rather sell you a smaller result you can see than promise a bigger one that only exists in someone else's photo.— Dr. Hyunji Kim, Delphic Clinic
How to take your own before photos so the after means something
Your own photos are the only Oligio before and after that really matters. Take them the night before treatment and repeat them exactly at the checkpoints in the table.
- 1
Same light
Face a window in daylight, no overhead lamp. Note the time of day and repeat it.
- 2
Same distance and height
Phone at eye level, about an arm's length away. Mark the spot on the floor.
- 3
Three angles
Front, left side and right side, plus one looking slightly down to show the jawline.
- 4
Same face
No makeup, hair pulled back, neutral expression, jaw relaxed, not clenched.
- 5
Compare at month three
Put the pairs side by side. Day-one photos tell you little; month three is the fair comparison.

Reading other people's Oligio results online
When you look at photos online, check whether the light, angle and expression match. A head tilted up, a softer lamp or a smile pulls the skin and flatters the jaw. If those differ between the two images, the comparison tells you about photography, not about Oligio.
- Does the post say how many shots and which areas?
- How long after treatment was the after photo taken?
- Were other treatments done in the same period?
- Is the person's starting face similar to yours?
When I suggest something other than Oligio
If your main issue is volume loss, deeper sagging or a need for an immediate lift for an event, I will tell you that RF is not the right first step and explain the alternatives in the consultation. If you are pregnant, have an implanted electronic device, or have an active skin infection on the area, I will not perform it on that visit.

I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.

Frequently asked questions
When will I see Oligio before and after results?
Some people notice skin feeling slightly firmer within days, but the main change comes as collagen remodels and builds gradually over the following months. I ask patients to judge their result at around three months rather than in the first week.
Is there downtime after Oligio?
Most people return to their day straight away. Mild warmth or redness can appear on the treated area and usually settles quickly. Your own reaction depends on your skin and the plan, which I explain before treatment.
Why do some Oligio before and after photos look dramatic?
Lighting, angle, makeup and posture change a face far more than a single RF session does. Photos taken in different conditions can exaggerate the difference. A fair comparison uses the same light, distance and expression.
Who sees little change from Oligio?
Patients with heavy sagging, significant volume loss or very loose skin usually see a modest change from RF alone. In those cases I may suggest a different plan or a combination, and I say so before you pay.
How much does Oligio cost at Delphic?
Oligio 300 shots is 600,000 won and eye Oligio 200 shots is 600,000 won at list price, with first-visit trial prices of 130,000 won for 100 shots and 390,000 won for 300 shots or eye 200 shots. Everyone pays the same price, local or international.
