Gold & Platinum PTT in Korea: Awo's Five-Step Acne Visit, Explained Step by Step by the Doctor
Awo (@drawograce) stacked Gold & Platinum PTT, GV Genesis, Accu, LDM in acne mode and a modelling mask into one Seoul visit. Here is what each layer of that plan is for, and when it is too much.

A long list of treatment names in one caption can look like a lot, and visitors often ask me whether it really takes five things to treat acne. I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam. I trained at Korea University Medical Center, and I see every international patient myself, from the first conversation to the last pass of the laser. Awo's visit is a good example of how an acne session is built in layers, so on this page I take that caption apart: what each step targets, what it costs on our menu, and who should start with less.

In her own words
I went to Delphic Clinic in Gangnam and had their Ethosome Gold & Platinum PTT + GV genesis + Accu Toning +LDM Acne and a modelling mask. There was no way I was going to South Korea without getting a skin treatment.
Five names, one goal: reading Awo's treatment list
Awo listed Ethosome Gold & Platinum PTT, GV Genesis, Accu, LDM in acne mode and a modelling mask. On paper that sounds like five separate treatments. In the room it is closer to one acne plan with a beginning, a middle and an end.
The PTT package already includes the GV Genesis pass and a mask, so it counts as one line on our menu. Accu adds a deeper hit on the oil glands, LDM calms the skin afterwards, and the modelling mask closes the session. Each step does a different job, which is why stacking them in one afternoon makes sense for a visitor with only a few days.
Why the gold and platinum go in first
Gold & Platinum PTT starts with an ampoule of gold and platinum nanoparticles that is worked into the skin. The particles collect in the oil glands, and when the laser light reaches them they heat up there, targeting the gland and the acne bacteria rather than the surface. That is why patients tend to describe it as a short, warm session rather than a harsh one.
The GV Genesis pass that follows uses a gentle 1064 nm mode across the whole face, which many people find helpful for texture and the redness that hangs around after breakouts. If lingering red marks are part of your story, I've written about how I calm red acne marks with GV laser.
Accu and LDM: one goes deeper, one settles things down
- 1
Accu (1450 nm)
This wavelength is absorbed by both water and oil in the skin, so it reaches the oil glands more directly than a toning laser. I use it when oil and recurring breakouts are the main problem, especially for patients who want to treat acne without medication.
- 2
LDM in acne mode
LDM uses high-density ultrasound to support the skin's recovery. After two heat-based steps, six minutes of LDM is how I help the skin settle before you walk back out into the city.
- 3
Modelling mask
A cooling, setting mask to finish. It isn't a treatment on its own; it is the last step of looking after skin that has just had a lot of attention.
Is five steps too much for a first visit?
For some people, yes. If your skin is very sensitive, freshly irritated from strong actives, or you are mainly dealing with a few occasional spots, I would start with the PTT package alone and see how your skin responds. More steps are not automatically better.
For someone with active, recurring breakouts and oily skin who is in Seoul for a short trip, the full stack is a reasonable way to use one appointment well. That decision is made after I've seen your skin, not from a caption. For the wider picture of what a single acne visit can realistically achieve, read what one visit can do before you fly home.
What Awo's combination costs on our menu
Our prices are public, and visitors pay the same as Korean patients. Awo's caption doesn't say which price applied, so below is the menu price for the typical version of this combination, not a receipt:
- Ethosome Gold & Platinum PTT + GV Genesis + Pack 1 session₩190,000≈ $140
- Accu (Sebum) Laser 2 Modes 1 session₩99,000≈ $70
- LDM 6min (Choose 1 mode: Hydration/Acne/Redness) (First-visit trial)₩39,000≈ $30
VAT excluded · identical for Korean and international patients · the PTT package is also listed at a first-visit trial price of ₩110,000; LDM shown at its first-visit price (event menu ₩50,000). Your exact plan is confirmed at the free consultation.
If you only add one step, the PTT package on its own is the core of the plan. I've laid out how an acne bill is built from separate menu lines in more detail on the blog.
The days after, and what I'd ask you to avoid
- Skip strenuous exercise, saunas and hot baths for the rest of the day.
- Keep the skin moisturised; the laser steps can leave it a little dry.
- No scrubs or peeling products for several days.
- Sunscreen every time you go out, which in Seoul usually means all day.
- Acne care works over a course: PTT is typically repeated every 2–4 weeks, so one visit is a start rather than a finish.
Booking this around a Seoul trip
- 1
Message first
Send a clear photo of your skin and your travel dates — message us on WhatsApp. I'll tell you whether the full combination or a lighter version fits.
- 2
Same-day treatment
After a free 1:1 consultation with me, treatment can usually go ahead the same day. English and Chinese interpreters are on site.
- 3
Getting here
We're a short walk from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 3 in Gangnam.
Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- Your skin gets shiny by midday
- Breakouts keep returning in the same areas
- Spots leave red or dark marks that outlast the spot
- Home routines have stopped making a difference
A good fit if
- You have active, recurring breakouts and oily skin
- You'd like to treat acne without relying only on medication
- Red marks linger after spots heal and you want both addressed
- You're in Seoul briefly and want one well-planned acne session
Not the right first step if: your skin is currently raw or irritated, you're pregnant, you have an open wound or skin infection in the area, or you only get the odd spot — then a lighter first step makes more sense.

“If this sounds like your skin, send me a photo before your trip. I'll tell you honestly whether you need the full combination or whether the PTT package alone is enough to start.”
Questions patients ask me about this
What is Gold & Platinum PTT for acne?
It is a laser acne treatment that uses gold and platinum nanoparticles applied to the skin. The particles gather in the oil glands and heat up under specific laser light, targeting the glands and acne bacteria. At Delphic it comes as a package with a GV Genesis pass and a mask.
How much is Gold PTT acne treatment in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic the Ethosome Gold & Platinum PTT + GV Genesis + mask package is ₩190,000 for one session on the regular menu, and ₩110,000 at the first-visit trial price, VAT excluded. International patients pay the same as Korean patients.
Is there downtime after Gold PTT and Accu laser?
Both allow same-day return to normal activities. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and scrubs, and keep the skin moisturised and protected from the sun in the days after.
How many Gold PTT sessions do I need?
Acne care usually works as a course, with PTT repeated every 2–4 weeks. How many sessions suit you depends on your skin, and we discuss it at the consultation.
Can I combine Gold PTT, Accu and LDM in one visit?
Yes, they are often done in one appointment because each step does a different job. Whether all three are right for you depends on how active and how sensitive your skin is.
