No-Downtime Lifting in Korea: Jacqueline's ONDA, Titanium and LDM Day, and What “No Downtime” Really Means
Jacqueline (@all.about.jacqueline) had ONDA, Titanium lifting and LDM in Gangnam and went straight back to exploring Seoul. Her doctor explains what “no downtime” means for each, and how to schedule a trip around them.

Almost every visitor who asks me about lifting adds the same condition: “but I can't look treated, I have plans tonight.” I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic in Sinnonhyeon, Gangnam; I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I consult and treat international patients myself. Jacqueline (@all.about.jacqueline) had ONDA, Titanium lifting and LDM, and says she went straight back to exploring Seoul. That matches what many patients experience, but “no downtime” isn't the same for all three. Here I explain what the evening after each one is really like, how I'd schedule sightseeing around them, and who I'd ask to wait.

In her own words
i tried ONDA lifting, Titanium lifting & LDM, all non-invasive treatments. the doctors were so gentle and precise, and i had no downtime afterwards, so i could get straight back to exploring seoul!
Is there really no-downtime lifting in Korea?
No-downtime lifting in Korea is real in the sense that matters to most visitors: you walk out, you can wear makeup, and nobody on the subway stares. What it doesn't mean is that your skin feels exactly as it did an hour earlier.
Jacqueline names all three treatments in her caption, so I can talk about them directly. Each one has a slightly different “after,” and knowing which is which is how you plan a trip without surprises.
What the evening after each treatment feels like
- 1
LDM
High-density ultrasound used for regeneration, hydration and firmness. Return to daily life the same day. Most people feel nothing more than a fresh, slightly warm face.
- 2
ONDA
Coolwaves microwaves heat deeper layers while keeping the surface cool. The area may look briefly red or feel warm, and this usually settles the same day; makeup is fine the same day.
- 3
Titanium
Three wavelengths (755, 810, 1064 nm) with contact cooling. Recovery is listed as 1–2 days: redness, warmth or occasional bruising can last about 2–3 days, then fades.
So of the three, Titanium is the one with the most to plan around, even though it's still a low-downtime treatment. I've written a separate guide to planning Titanium's 1–2 recovery days around your flight home.
Why Titanium is the one I schedule carefully
Titanium works deeper and faster than a gentle care device, which is why people feel firmer right after. The trade-off is heat. For three days I ask patients to wash with lukewarm water, avoid peels and scrubs, and use sunscreen diligently.
Cleansing and makeup are fine from the same day. What I'd avoid is planning a sauna, a jjimjilbang night or heavy drinking that first evening, because heat on heat is what keeps redness around longer.
How I'd plan a Seoul sightseeing day around a lift
- Morning appointment, afternoon walking tour: fine for all three, with a hat and sunscreen
- Evening photoshoot the same day: I'd choose ONDA or LDM, and keep Titanium for another day
- Spa, sauna or hot spring the same week: book it before the Titanium session, not right after
- Flight within 24 hours: possible, but I'd rather you have one calm day before flying
Another creator's six months in Seoul raised the same question from a different side. I wrote about what the phrase “zero downtime” should really mean on her page.
When a no-downtime lift is the wrong choice (or not yet)
- Your main concern is heavy sagging. A gentle device day won't replace a deeper lift, and I'd rather say so.
- You're sunburnt or just back from a beach holiday. Heat-based treatments on stressed skin are harder to control.
- Your skin is irritated from retinol or a recent peel. Let it settle first.
- You're pregnant, or have a pacemaker or metal implants in the treatment area. Tell me at the consultation.
What an ONDA, Titanium and LDM day costs
These are example menu prices, not what Jacqueline paid. International patients pay exactly what Korean patients pay. Not everyone needs all three; often one device plus LDM is the sensible start.
- ONDA Lifting (Face) 40kj (First-visit trial)₩270,000≈ $200
- Titanium 40KJ (First-visit trial)₩340,000≈ $250
- LDM 10min (Lifting Mode) (Event price)₩100,000≈ $70
Example menu prices — not what Jacqueline paid. VAT excluded · identical for Korean and international patients · ONDA and Titanium shown at first-visit prices (regular: ONDA face 40kj ₩400,000, Titanium 40KJ ₩500,000). Your plan is confirmed at the free consultation.
Booking it so your trip photos still work
- 1
Before you fly
Message us on WhatsApp with your travel dates and any photo days. I'll suggest which day to treat.
- 2
On the day
Free 1:1 consultation with me, then same-day treatment if it suits you. English and Chinese interpreters are on site, near Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station.
- 3
After
Sunscreen, lukewarm water and no sauna for a few days. Results from ONDA build over the following weeks, so the clearest change may show after you're home.
If you want to see how one session fits a full itinerary, my guide on fitting a Titanium lift into your trip lays out the days.
Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- You're in Seoul for a few days and want visible freshness
- You've tried skincare for firmness and want the next step
- You have photo days you don't want to risk
- You're unsure whether ONDA or Titanium suits your face
A good fit if
- You want firmer, fresher skin without taking days off your trip
- Your laxity is mild to moderate rather than heavy sagging
- You can keep the first evening free of saunas and heavy drinking
- You'd like a doctor to choose which device suits your face
Not the right first step if: you're sunburnt, your skin is irritated from strong actives, you're pregnant, or your main concern is heavy sagging that a gentle device day won't address; I'd plan something else or wait.

“Tell me your travel dates and your photo days before you book. I'll choose the device and the day so your plans and your skin don't compete.”
Questions patients ask me about this
Is there a lifting treatment in Korea with no downtime?
Yes, in the practical sense. ONDA and LDM usually allow same-day return to daily life and makeup, while Titanium is low-downtime with 1–2 days of possible redness or warmth.
Can I go sightseeing after Titanium lifting?
Most people can walk around the same day with sunscreen. Avoid saunas, hot baths and heavy drinking for a few days, and wash with lukewarm water for three days.
Can I wear makeup after ONDA lifting?
Yes. ONDA keeps the skin surface cool, and makeup is usually fine the same day. Brief redness or warmth typically settles within the day.
Can ONDA, Titanium and LDM be done on the same day?
They can be combined when the consultation shows they suit your skin. Many people don't need all three, and the doctor decides the combination and energy in person.
How much does no-downtime lifting cost in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, examples are LDM 10-minute lifting mode ₩100,000, ONDA face 40kj ₩270,000 and Titanium 40KJ ₩340,000 at first-visit prices, VAT excluded. International patients pay the same as Korean patients.
