Titanium Korea style, as most people mean it, is Titanium Lifting: a laser that fires three wavelengths at once (755, 810 and 1064 nm) to tighten and brighten skin, listed on our menu at 15–30 minutes a session and 1–2 days of recovery. The worry under that search is usually practical: will I still be pink and puffy on the flight home, or at dinner with family the night after?
Same-day treatment is possible here, and we're open until 21:00 on weekdays, so the session itself rarely decides your trip; the recovery days do.
I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic in Gangnam, trained at Korea University Medical Center and a member of the Korean Society for Laser Dermatology & Hair. When visitors ask me about titanium Korea style lifting, timing tends to come up before the laser does, so I'll start with the days.
If your flights are already booked, send your arrival and departure dates on WhatsApp with a daylight photo of your face, front and side, and ask the one thing on your mind: which day of the trip the session should go on.

What do the numbers on a Titanium menu tell you?
Three numbers matter more than the device name: the wavelengths, the energy level and the recovery window.
The wavelengths are 755, 810 and 1064 nm, fired together. In general laser terms, longer wavelengths heat deeper, so combining them lets one pass warm the skin at more than one depth. That's why the menu describes Titanium as tightening plus brightening. A small preliminary study in Lasers in Medical Science (Jo and colleagues, 2023) looked at this triple-wavelength combination for skin rejuvenation and reported improvement; it was small, so I read it as a starting point, not proof.
The energy level shows up as Titanium 40KJ or 60KJ on our menu. The KJ figure is the total energy delivered across the treatment, and a bigger number is not automatically the better choice for your face. Every treatment here is designed around your individual skin condition, and thinner, reactive skin or a first session are reasons to start lower. I'd rather you add a session on a later trip than push heat into skin that hasn't shown how it responds.
For the wider background, I've written about how I approach Titanium lifting in Korea.
The recovery window is 1–2 days on our menu, with sapphire cooling and low pain listed among the device's features. That window is what your flight should be built around.
How many days should you keep clear after Titanium?
Plan on the 1–2 days the menu lists, and treat them as days you can be out in the city but not days for photos you care about. Most people feel the session as heat, and the visible part comes afterward.
Right after the session, skin usually feels warm and looks pink, a bit like a mild sunburn, for some hours. The next morning, some people have light redness or puffiness along the cheeks and jawline. By the second day, the listed recovery window has passed, and for many people the face looks like their own again.
What to skip in those two days is general post-laser advice: no sauna or jjimjilbang, no hot yoga, no heavy drinking the first night, and sunscreen with a hat whenever you're outdoors. Seoul in summer is more sun than most visitors expect. Ask at your visit when you can go back to makeup and to actives such as retinoids.
A trip plan built around 1–2 recovery days
Say you land at Incheon on a Thursday and fly home the following Tuesday. Friday is your session day, and because we're open until 21:00 on weekdays, it can go at the end of a day of sightseeing. Saturday is the pink-and-puffy day for those who get it, a good day for museums and a hat. By Sunday you're past the listed window, and Monday is yours for the dinner or the photos.
Count the clinic's hours into the plan too: Monday to Friday 10:30–21:00, Saturday 10:30–17:00, closed on Sundays. A Saturday-afternoon session before a Monday flight puts a closed Sunday in between. If you want the option of coming back with a question before you leave, a weekday session gives you that.
These days are for Titanium alone. Titanium also appears in our one-day packages alongside Onda and other treatments, and a combination can carry a different recovery, so ask about the downtime of that exact combination before you fix your flight. The Delphic Clinic homepage lists the hours and the station exit if you're mapping out your days.
Verified Google reviews
4.7 · 260 Google reviewsI received ONDA lifting and Juvelook Skin treatment at Delpic Clinic. Before the procedure, Dr. K carefully examined my skin condition and explained everything in a kind and easy-to-understand way, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. During the treatment, I could really tell that Dr. K was highly skilled, so I felt confident and at ease throughout the entire process. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. It’s definitely a clinic I would love to visit again.
I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.
When you message, add the date of the dinner, wedding or meeting you're planning around, and ask which session day leaves two clear days before it.

Who shouldn't book Titanium, and when is the trip not worth it?
Titanium tightens and brightens; it doesn't lift heavy sagging. If your jowls hang well below the jawline, or the neck skin folds when you look down, a laser can soften the edges but won't do what a surgical lift does. Better to know that before you plan a trip around it.
If your main concern is thin, crepey or dull skin rather than looseness, that kind of skin often does better with a booster than with heat. I've written about how I talk patients through Korean PDRN options if that sounds like you.
And if your skin is fine and Titanium is on your list only because a friend had it, you don't need to come for it. Reviews can make any treatment sound essential; I've written separately about which Titanium lifting reviews are worth trusting.
Risks and side effects to know
Redness, warmth and mild swelling for a day or two are the expected part, and they're what the 1–2 day recovery window describes. Less commonly, small blisters, crusting or temporary darkening of the skin can appear; darkening is more likely in deeper skin tones and in skin that's been in the sun recently. Burns and scarring are rare with energy devices, and they're the reason skin condition matters more than the number on the menu.
The harder part with travel is what happens after you fly home. The CDC's medical tourism guidance suggests getting copies of your records and planning follow-up care before you leave. For a laser, that means a note of the device, the energy level and the date, which a dermatologist at home can read if something looks off. Results vary from person to person, and whether Titanium suits you is decided at the in-person exam.
If you've been studying recovery photos online, I've also written about what Titanium recovery photos leave out.
What to check about your own skin before you fly
Run through this self-check before your consultation. A "yes" doesn't rule you out; it changes the conversation and sometimes the day.
- Have I been tanned or sunburned in the last few weeks?
- Have I taken oral isotretinoin in the past several months, or am I using a retinoid now?
- Did I have a laser, peel or injectable treatment on my face in the past month?
- Have I had dark marks or raised scars after a burn, acne or another laser?
- Am I pregnant or breastfeeding?
- Is there a cold sore, rash or open skin on my face right now?
- Which day of the trip do I most need my face to look settled?
If any answer is a yes, put it in your first WhatsApp message with a photo of the medication or product label, and ask whether it changes which day works. Consultations here are one-to-one, there's English interpretation on site, and the clinic connects directly to Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station on Line 9 and the Sinbundang Line.
Frequently asked questions
Is titanium lifting a titanium thread or implant?
No. Titanium is the name of the laser device. Nothing is inserted or left in the skin; the session delivers light energy at three wavelengths (755, 810 and 1064 nm) across the face.
Does Titanium lifting hurt?
The handpiece uses sapphire cooling, and low pain is listed among the device's features. Most people describe heat building during each pass. If you're sensitive to heat, say so before the session starts.
Can I combine Titanium with other treatments on the same day?
Titanium appears in our one-day packages alongside Onda and other treatments, so a same-day combination is possible. The recovery for a combination can differ from Titanium alone, so ask about that exact combination before you book your flight home.
When will I notice a difference after Titanium?
Some people notice brighter, firmer-feeling skin once the redness settles, while collagen-related tightening generally builds over the following weeks. How much and how soon differs between faces, so judge it after you're home rather than on day two.
Can I go to a jjimjilbang or wear makeup during the trip?
As general post-laser advice, skip saunas, jjimjilbang and hot yoga for the first couple of days, since heat can keep skin red longer. Ask at your visit when you can go back to makeup and to actives such as retinoids.
