Keeping a Snatched Jawline in Seoul: Sophie's Maintenance Visit, and How I Plan Repeat Lifting
Sophie (@sophienicolemichelle) lives in Korea and came back to keep a defined jawline, not to build one from scratch. Maintenance is a different conversation, and this page explains how I approach it.

“Keep” is the word in Sophie's caption that caught my attention. I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic by Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam; I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I see our international patients, visitors and residents alike, myself. Many of them, especially those living in Korea, are no longer asking “will this work?” but “how do I hold on to it, and how often is too often?” This page answers that maintenance question using Sophie's plan: what was done, what it costs, how I space repeat sessions, and when I tell someone to take a break.

In her own words
Clinic Korea thank you for helping me keep my jaw snatched! ONDA 40KJ + Titanium 40KJ + Facial Fat-Dissolving injection : 640.000 KRW
Keeping a jawline is not the same as building one
When someone comes in to create definition, I'm usually working against fullness that has been there for years. A maintenance visit is lighter: the line already exists, and the goal is to stop gradual softening from creeping back.
That changes how I dose. I look at what has actually returned since the last visit rather than repeating the same plan on autopilot. Sometimes all three treatments are still justified; sometimes one is enough.
What each part of the plan is holding in place
- ONDA 40kJ: Coolwaves™ microwaves heat the fat layer while the surface stays cool, targeting the fullness that blurs the jaw.
- Titanium 40kJ: three laser wavelengths warm the dermis to keep skin firm, so the line doesn't soften from loosening skin.
- Facial fat-dissolving injection: a 3cc shot into one small pocket that the devices don't address as precisely.
I've written a longer piece on fat-dissolving for slimming a face and a first-timer guide to ONDA, if you're weighing the parts separately.
How often is reasonable — and when I say wait
Titanium is typically repeated at intervals of 2–8 weeks when someone is building results, and ONDA is usually planned as 1–3 sessions depending on the area, with periodic maintenance afterwards. Those are ranges, not a subscription.
If the jaw already looks the way you want, I will tell you to wait. Over-treating a slim face can leave it looking hollow, which is harder to fix than mild fullness. Weight stability matters more than any device for keeping the line.
The cost of a maintenance visit
Sophie's caption lists ₩640,000, which matches our first-visit menu for these three lines. Korean and international patients pay the same, with no foreigner surcharge.
- ONDA Lifting (Face) 40kj (First-visit trial)₩270,000≈ $200
- Titanium 40KJ (First-visit trial)₩340,000≈ $250
- Face Fat-Dissolving Injection 3cc: DelQ (ACCU)/DelFit (Non-Steroid)₩30,000≈ $20
VAT excluded · identical for Korean and international patients · first-visit prices apply once; repeat sessions follow the regular menu (ONDA face 40kJ ₩400,000, Titanium 40kJ ₩500,000) · plan confirmed at the free consultation.
One thing residents should know: first-visit prices apply once. Later sessions follow the regular menu, so it's worth planning maintenance with the full price in mind. My guide to building an ONDA budget explains the numbers in more detail.
For residents: fitting it around a working week
- 1
Book around your calendar
Message us on WhatsApp with a photo and the days you're free. Same-day treatment after the consultation is possible.
- 2
Evening or lunch break
Most people go straight back to work. Expect possible redness or warmth for a day or two after Titanium.
- 3
Track with photos
Take a photo in the same light every few weeks. It tells us far more about timing than memory does.

We're right by Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station, with English and Chinese interpreters on site.
Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- Your jawline looked sharper a few months after your last session than it does now
- You're unsure whether you need all three treatments again or just one
- You're planning maintenance and want the regular prices up front
- You've started to worry you might be over-treating
A good fit if
- You've had jawline lifting before and notice the definition slowly softening
- You live in or visit Korea regularly and prefer small, spaced-out sessions
- Fullness and loosening skin both contribute to a blurred jaw
- You want a defined line that still looks natural
Not the right first step if: your face is already slim or starting to look hollow, you're pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implants in the area, or you're hoping devices will replace weight management.

“If you're on a maintenance routine, send me a recent photo and one from your last session. I'll tell you honestly whether it's time, or whether you can wait.”
Questions patients ask me about this
How often can you repeat ONDA and Titanium for the jawline?
Titanium is usually spaced 2–8 weeks apart when building results, and ONDA is typically planned as 1–3 sessions with periodic maintenance. The doctor decides timing from how much definition has actually returned, not a fixed schedule.
How much is jawline lifting with ONDA, Titanium and fat-dissolving in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic the first-visit menu for ONDA 40kJ, Titanium 40kJ and a 3cc facial fat-dissolving injection totals ₩640,000, VAT excluded. Repeat sessions follow regular prices: ONDA face 40kJ ₩400,000 and Titanium 40kJ ₩500,000.
Can you over-treat the jawline?
Yes. Repeatedly reducing fat in a face that is already slim can leave it looking hollow. A careful clinic will tell you to pause when the line already looks the way you want.
Do foreigners living in Korea pay more at Delphic Clinic?
No. Prices are the same for Korean and international patients, whether you're a resident or a visitor, and English and Chinese interpreters are on site.
Can I go back to work after jawline lifting?
Most patients return to work the same day. Mild redness or warmth after Titanium can last 1–2 days, and the injection spot may feel slightly tender.
