Rejuran Recovery Time, Day by Day: Cindy's “No Pain, No Gain” Clip and What the Next 72 Hours Look Like
Cindy (@carpeciindy) sums up Rejuran in four words: no pain, no gain. Her doctor explains the part after the needle: what the bumps and redness look like over the first hours and days, what makes recovery longer, and where to put Rejuran in a trip.

I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam. I trained at Korea University Medical Center, and I consult and treat our international patients myself. The question I get right after Rejuran, often while the patient is still holding the ice pack, is “how long will I look like this?” Visitors ask it with a flight, a dinner or a photo shoot in mind. Cindy's TikTok is about the sting; this page is about everything after it: what Rejuran recovery time looks like hour by hour and day by day, why some faces take longer, the aftercare I give, the cost, and how to place it on a short trip.

In her own words
for beauty, no pain no gain 🥺
How long is Rejuran recovery time, really?
For most people, Rejuran recovery time is about 1–3 days. That's how long the small raised bumps from each injection point usually take to flatten. It's a short window, but it's a visible one, so it matters where you put it.
Cindy's “no pain, no gain” refers to the sting during the injections. The healing afterwards is usually less dramatic than people fear, and more predictable.
The first few hours: what's normal
- Small, evenly spaced bumps where the product was placed; this is the product sitting in the skin, not a reaction.
- Pinkness or redness around the treated area.
- Tiny pinpoint marks from the needle.
- A tight or slightly tender feeling when you touch the skin.
I usually tell patients to plan a quiet evening. Gentle cleansing is fine; makeup can wait until I say so.
Days 1 to 3: when do Rejuran bumps go away?
- 1
Next morning
Bumps are often softer and lower. Some redness may remain, especially on fairer skin.
- 2
Day 2
Many people find the bumps hard to see from a normal speaking distance.
- 3
Day 3
For most, the surface looks settled. A small bruise, if one formed, can take a little longer to fade.
I wrote a longer day-by-day guide, with how many nights to book, in my notes on Rejuran recovery and trip length.
Why some faces take longer to settle
- Thin or sensitive skin tends to stay pink longer.
- Areas near the eyes can puff more and show bruises more easily.
- A larger volume means more injection points and more to settle.
- Blood-thinning medicines or supplements raise the chance of bruising; tell me about them at the consultation.
Does more discomfort mean better Rejuran results?
No. The sting comes from many small injections, and numbing helps. How well your skin responds depends on your skin and how the course is planned, not on how much it hurt.
I covered the sting itself in Cindy's first case, and how Rejuran pairs with Juvelook in her combo visit.
Rejuran aftercare: what speeds healing, what slows it
- Do: wash with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, moisturise, and use sunscreen daily.
- Don't: rub or press the bumps, or use scrubs and peels for the first week.
- Avoid saunas, hot baths, alcohol and hard exercise for a few days.
- Message us if redness spreads, the area gets hotter or more painful, or a bruise grows instead of fading.

Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- You've watched Rejuran clips but worry about the bumps
- You have a 4–7 day trip with some quiet days
- Your makeup sits badly on dry, tired skin
- You want to know whether the eye version suits you
A good fit if
- You have at least 2–3 relaxed days after treatment
- Your skin feels thin, tired or dehydrated
- You can live with visible bumps for a day or two
- You want a skin-quality booster rather than a lift
Not the right first step if: you have a wedding, shoot or flight the next day, you bruise very easily or take blood thinners without your doctor's agreement, your skin has an active rash or infection, or you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

“Tell me your flight time before we book. I'd rather move your Rejuran to day 2 of the trip than have you board a plane worrying about bumps.”
Questions patients ask me about this
How long do Rejuran bumps last?
For most people the injection bumps settle in about 1–3 days. Thin or sensitive skin, bruising or areas near the eyes can take a little longer.
Can I wear makeup after Rejuran?
I ask patients to wait until the doctor confirms it's fine, usually after the first day. Gentle cleansing is fine from the same day.
Can I fly the day after Rejuran?
Flying itself is usually fine, but the bumps may still be visible. If you can, leave 2–3 days between Rejuran and your flight home.
Does Rejuran leave bruises?
Sometimes. A small bruise can appear at an injection point and may take longer to fade than the bumps, especially near the eyes.
How much is Rejuran in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, Rejuran Healer 2cc is ₩178,000 on the first-visit menu (regular ₩350,000), VAT excluded. Korean and international patients pay the same.
