Skin Brightening Package in Korea: @salguinkorea's Three Lasers, LDM and Vitamin Care, Taken Apart Step by Step
@salguinkorea tried a whitening and pigmentation package at Delphic Clinic: three lasers, LDM, a vitamin treatment and a modeling mask. Her doctor explains what each component does and what “glowing after a week” honestly means.

When a patient points at a package on our menu and asks “what am I actually paying for?”, I think that's exactly the right instinct. I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic in Sinnonhyeon, Gangnam. I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I consult and treat international patients myself, and brightening packages are among the things visitors ask about most, often a day or two before a flight. @salguinkorea lists what hers included: three lasers, LDM moisture care, a vitamin treatment and a modeling mask. Here I take that package apart step by step, explain what one week can and can't show, and say who I'd steer elsewhere.

In her own words
It included 3 lasers, LDM moisture care, vitamin treatment & a modeling mask. … A little red right after, but basically zero downtime. One week later, my skin was GLOWING ✨
What's in a skin brightening package in Korea?
A skin brightening package in Korea usually stacks several short steps into one visit: lasers that target pigment, a device that calms and hydrates, an active infused into the skin, and a mask to finish. @salguinkorea's caption lists exactly that shape.
She doesn't name the three lasers, so I won't claim which ones were used. What I can do is explain the role each type of step plays, because that's what tells you whether a package suits your skin.
Component by component: what each step is doing
- 1
The lasers
For tone, my usual tools are PicoSure toning (a 755 nm picosecond laser aimed at melanin) and GV laser, whose 532/1064 nm modes cover pigment and redness. Layering lasers lets each work at a gentler setting.
- 2
LDM moisture care
High-density ultrasound used for regeneration and hydration. After laser heat, which can leave skin dry, this is the step that calms things down.
- 3
Vitamin treatment
Vitamin C, an antioxidant, pushed into the skin with iontophoresis. It supports a brighter-looking tone rather than removing pigment on its own.
- 4
Modeling mask
A cooling, sealing mask that ends the visit. It's comfort and soothing, not the active part.
Another creator had a similar package with the components named, and I walked through her PicoSure, Genesis and LDM brightening morning step by step.
“Glowing” one week later: what's realistic?
Her caption says “a little red right after” and glowing a week later, which fits what I usually see. Redness from toning lasers usually settles within a few days, and the hydration and smoother surface show early.
Deeper or long-standing pigment is different. PicoSure toning is commonly repeated every 1–2 weeks and GV laser every 2–4 weeks, so one package is a start, not a finish, for stubborn spots or melasma.
Brighter, not whiter: why I choose my words
Packages are sometimes named “whitening,” but I don't treat anyone's natural skin colour as a problem. What these steps aim for is an even tone: fewer dark patches, less dullness, more light reflected from a hydrated surface.
I've written more about what a Korean skin whitening treatment can honestly change, and what it shouldn't try to.
Who should skip a brightening package for now
- You're freshly tanned or sunburnt. Laser on recently sun-stimulated skin is harder to control.
- Your skin is irritated from retinol, a peel or new whitening products. Let it calm first.
- Your “dullness” is really active acne or redness, which needs its own plan.
- You won't wear sunscreen daily afterwards. Without it, pigment tends to return.
Package or single items: what the menu costs
These are example single-item prices, not what @salguinkorea paid. International patients pay exactly what Korean patients pay. A package bundles steps; whether bundling saves you money depends on whether you need every step.
- Pico Sure Toning + 1 Session of Mask (First-visit trial)₩40,000≈ $30
- LDM 6min (Choose 1 mode: Hydration/Acne/Redness) (First-visit trial)₩39,000≈ $30
- Ionto Vitamin Infusion 5min₩50,000≈ $40
Example single-item menu prices — not what @salguinkorea paid for her package. VAT excluded · identical for Korean and international patients · PicoSure and LDM are first-visit prices (regular: PicoSure toning + mask ₩50,000). Package contents and price are confirmed at the free consultation.
Her caption also mentions a downloadable skin analysis. That scan is where I decide which steps to keep, and I've explained what a Seoul skin analysis actually shows and how it shapes a plan.
Booking a brightening visit on a short trip
- 1
Before you fly
Send a daylight photo without makeup on WhatsApp and tell me how long your dark spots have been there.
- 2
On the day
Skin analysis, a free 1:1 consultation with me, then same-day treatment if it suits you. English and Chinese interpreters are on site, near Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station.
- 3
The week after
Sunscreen, plenty of moisturiser, and no peels, scrubs or retinol for a while. If pigment is the goal, we plan follow-up sessions for your next visit.
Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- Brightening skincare hasn't moved your tone
- You have an event or photos after your trip
- You want to see your skin analysis before choosing steps
- You're unsure whether a package or single treatments suits you
A good fit if
- Your skin looks dull or uneven and you want a fresher look on a trip
- You have light, scattered pigment rather than one deep patch
- You'd like several gentle steps in one visit
- You'll wear sunscreen daily afterwards
Not the right first step if: you're freshly tanned or sunburnt, your skin is irritated from strong actives, or you're hoping to change your natural skin colour; I'd wait or talk through a different goal.

“Show me your skin before you choose a package. If one or two steps will do the job, I'll tell you, and if your pigment needs a course, I'll say that too.”
Questions patients ask me about this
What is included in a skin brightening package in Korea?
It usually combines pigment-targeting lasers with calming and hydrating care. A typical shape is laser toning, an LDM ultrasound step, a vitamin infusion and a soothing mask, chosen after a skin analysis.
Is there downtime after a brightening laser package?
Most people have mild redness right after that usually settles within a few days. You can return to daily life the same day, with daily sunscreen.
Will one brightening session remove dark spots?
One visit can make skin look fresher and more even. Deeper or long-standing pigment usually needs several sessions; PicoSure toning is commonly repeated every 1–2 weeks.
Does a Korean whitening package change your skin colour?
It aims for a brighter, more even tone, not a different natural skin colour. The goal is fewer dark patches and less dullness.
How much does a brightening treatment cost in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, examples are PicoSure toning with a mask ₩40,000, LDM 6 minutes ₩39,000 at first-visit prices and a 5-minute vitamin infusion ₩50,000, VAT excluded. International patients pay the same as Korean patients.
