Acne Treatment in Korea Cost: How I Build the Bill From Three Menu Lines

I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director and lead physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam, one minute from Sinnonhyeon Station. I trained at Korea University Medical Center, I am a member of the Korean Society for Laser Dermatology & Hair and the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Medicine, and my daily work covers lifting, laser and anti-ageing care alongside skin problems like acne. The acne treatment in Korea cost is a question I get from students, young professionals and parents of teenagers visiting Seoul, nearly always with the hope of one simple price.
Acne doesn't work that way, and neither do clinic menus. The honest way to think about acne treatment in Korea cost is as a bill built from a few blocks, chosen to match the breakouts you actually have. This page shows those blocks on our menu, a planner for which ones go together, and when I would send you elsewhere first.
Why acne has no single price
Two people can both say they have acne and need very different care. One has a handful of painful, inflamed spots before a trip. Another has oily skin with clogged pores and breakouts that return every month. Quoting both the same price would mean one of them is overpaying.
So the question I ask first is not how much, but what kind. If you want to sort your own breakouts before reading on, my guide to Korean acne treatment sessions starts with a quick acne map.
The three building blocks on our menu
- Acne session, ₩65,000: self-cleansing, extraction with anti-inflammatory injection, 10 minutes of blue LED, then finishing care.
- Anti-inflammatory injection, ₩10,000 for fewer than five spots or ₩30,000 for the full face: injected directly into inflamed lesions to calm them quickly.
- Accu (sebum) laser, ₩99,000 for one session with two modes: a 1450nm laser aimed at the sebaceous glands to reduce oil.
| Acne Treatment (Self-cleansing - Extraction + Anti-inflammatory Injection - LED (Blue Light 10min) - Finish) | ₩65,000$50 |
| Anti-inflammatory Injection (Less than 5) | ₩10,000$10 |
| Anti-inflammatory Injection (Full Face) | ₩30,000$20 |
| Accu (Sebum) Laser 2 Modes 1 session | ₩99,000$70 |
Session planner: which blocks for which breakout
Use this planner to estimate your own bill before you write to us. The amounts come straight from the menu; combinations are added up so you can see the total for one visit.
The acne session already includes extraction with an anti-inflammatory injection, so you would not normally pay for a separate injection line in the same visit unless I see a reason to. I will tell you before adding anything.
The injection count: under five spots or the whole face
Inflammation injections are priced by how many lesions are treated. Fewer than five spots is the smaller line; beyond that, the full-face line is the sensible choice. Count the raised, red, tender spots, not every mark or flat dark patch, because old marks are not what the injection treats.
Bruising can occasionally appear at an injection site and usually fades within a week. If you have a photo shoot or a wedding in the next few days, mention it so we can plan around it.
Paying for oil control with Accu laser
Accu laser is the block I add when the problem is the oil itself. Its 1450nm wavelength is absorbed by water and oil and targets the sebaceous glands, with the aim of reducing sebum and lowering how often acne recurs. It is the more expensive block, so I only suggest it when your skin and history point to oil as the driver. Where it fits among other acne lasers is covered in my piece on what acne laser treatment in Seoul can and can't fix.
Treat the acne you have today, then the reason it keeps coming back. Paying for the second before the first is how budgets disappear.— Dr. Hyunji Kim, Delphic Clinic
Acne I won't treat on a holiday budget
- Deep, painful nodules across the face or body that need ongoing medical treatment and follow-up at home.
- Sudden acne with other symptoms that may point to a hormonal or medical cause worth investigating first.
- Mainly scars and texture: those need scar-focused care, not active acne treatment.
- Breakouts from a new skin care product that may settle once you stop using it.
If scars are your real concern, the costs work very differently; I set them out in acne scar treatment cost in Seoul by scar type.
Questions that keep an acne quote honest
- Which kind of acne do you see on my skin, and which treatments match it?
- Is extraction or injection already included in the session price?
- How many spots does the injection price cover?
- Why would you add a laser, and what is it targeting?
- What should I keep doing at home after I fly back?

I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.

Frequently asked questions
What is the acne treatment in Korea cost at Delphic Clinic?
A clinic acne session (cleansing, extraction with anti-inflammatory injection, 10 minutes of blue LED and finishing care) is ₩65,000. Anti-inflammatory injections on their own are ₩10,000 for fewer than five spots or ₩30,000 for the full face. Accu (sebum) laser with two modes is ₩99,000 per session. Korean and international patients pay the same.
Do I need all three acne treatments?
Usually not. A few inflamed spots may need only injections. Regular breakouts with clogging suit the acne session. Accu laser is added when oily skin and repeated breakouts point to overactive sebaceous glands. I choose after looking at your skin.
What does the Accu sebum laser do for acne?
It uses a 1450nm wavelength that is absorbed by water and oil in the skin to target the sebaceous glands, aiming to reduce sebum and lower how often acne recurs. It is usually considered for stubborn adult or pustular acne.
Are there side effects from acne injections?
Bruising can occasionally occur at the injection site and usually fades within a week. Most people return to their day straight after.
Will one visit to Korea clear my acne?
One visit can calm an active flare, but acne usually needs ongoing care. I plan with that in mind, including what to do once you are home.
