Titanium Lifting Plus a Laser in Seoul: Ari's “Why Choose?” Combination, Reviewed by Her Doctor
Ari (@ariluxbloom) wanted both a more defined face and better skin, so she combined Titanium lifting with a laser. Her doctor explains when that pairing works, what it costs, and when to do just one.

Ari asked the question I hear in almost every lifting consultation, just more cheerfully than most: why choose between shape and skin? I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic in Gangnam's Sinnonhyeon area. I trained at Korea University Medical Center, and I consult with and treat international patients personally. Her answer was Titanium lifting for definition plus a laser for the skin concerns she wanted to work on. Sometimes that's exactly right; sometimes doing both in one day is the wrong call. This page explains how I decide, what Titanium costs, and who is better off with one treatment.

In her own words
Got my Titanium lifting + laser treatment done in Seoul and honestly… the combination makes SO much sense. One for that lifted, defined look, and one for the skin concerns I wanted to work on. Kbeauty really said: why choose between a snatched face and good skin? you can have both 🇰🇷
Shape and skin are two different problems
A “snatched” face is mostly about contour and firmness: how well the skin holds along the jaw and cheeks. Good skin is about tone, pigment, redness and texture. They overlap in photos, but in the treatment room they call for different energy, aimed at different targets.
That's why Ari's instinct is sound. One treatment rarely does both jobs well, and pairing a lifting device with a skin laser is one of the most common plans I build for visitors with only a few days.
What Titanium contributes
Titanium fires three wavelengths, 755, 810 and 1064nm, together to warm the dermis and support firmness. A sapphire tip cooled to around −3°C keeps the surface comfortable, so most people feel warm pulses rather than sharp heat. Many patients notice a brighter tone as a side benefit, which is part of why it sits well next to a skin laser.
For more on the device itself, I wrote a first-timer's guide to titanium lifting, and a frank piece on which titanium lifting reviews are worth trusting.
Which laser goes with it? It depends on the concern
- 1
Pigment and uneven tone
PicoSure toning, a 755nm picosecond laser aimed at melanin.
- 2
Redness and visible vessels
The GV laser, using 532nm and 1064nm modes for vessels and tone.
- 3
Texture and pores
Options such as Potenza or Pico Fraxel, chosen when pores or scars are the main concern.
Ari's caption doesn't say which laser she had, so I won't guess. I choose the laser after the skin assessment, and I'll lower the energy of one or the other when doing both on the same day. My concern-by-concern map of Korean lasers shows how the choice works.
What Titanium costs, and how the laser adds on
We publish our prices, and international visitors pay the Korean price. The Titanium part of Ari's plan, in its usual first-visit form, is:
- Titanium 40KJ (First-visit trial)₩340,000≈ $250
VAT excluded · identical for Korean and international patients · regular price for Titanium 40kJ is ₩500,000 · this is the typical first-visit Titanium option, not Ari's full bill; the laser is added at its own menu price after the free consultation.
The laser is added at its own menu price. As a reference, first-visit PicoSure toning with a mask is ₩40,000 and a first-visit GV laser session is ₩89,000.
When I'd split them instead
- If your skin is reactive, sunburnt or recently peeled, I'll do Titanium first and the laser on another day.
- If the laser you need works on texture or scars, the combined heat on one day may be more than your skin should take.
- If your skin concern is mild, Titanium's own brightening may be enough to start with.
- If you fly home tomorrow, we choose the gentler option of the two.
Fitting both into your Seoul days
- 1
Before the trip
Message us on WhatsApp with a daylight photo, front and side, plus your dates. I'll tell you whether both make sense or one is enough.
- 2
On the day
Consultation with me, then same-day treatment if we agree. English and Chinese interpreters are on site, near Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 3.
- 3
After
Gentle skincare and daily sunscreen; skip retinol and peels for a few days after the laser.
Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- Your jawline looks softer in photos than it used to
- Spots, redness or dullness show through makeup
- You've had a lifting treatment before and felt your skin still looked tired
- You'd like a short-downtime plan for a trip
A good fit if
- You want firmer, more defined contours and also have a specific skin concern
- You're in Seoul briefly and want one visit to cover both
- Your skin isn't currently irritated or sunburnt
- You're happy for the doctor to choose the laser after seeing your skin
Not the right first step if: you're pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implants in the area, active acne flares or a skin infection, a fresh tan or sunburn, or your skin is very reactive; then I'd split the treatments or start with one.

“Send me a front and side photo in daylight before you fly. I'll tell you which laser, if any, belongs next to Titanium for your skin.”
Questions patients ask me about this
Can you do Titanium lifting and a laser on the same day?
Often yes. Titanium works on firmness while a laser such as PicoSure or GV targets pigment or redness, so they address different problems. The doctor may lower one treatment's energy, or split them, if your skin is reactive.
How much is Titanium lifting in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, Titanium 40kJ is ₩340,000 at the first-visit price and ₩500,000 regularly; 60kJ is ₩700,000 (VAT excluded). International patients pay the same as Korean patients.
Does Titanium lifting hurt?
Most patients feel warm pulses rather than pain. A sapphire tip cooled to around −3°C protects the surface, and no anaesthetic injections are needed.
What is the downtime after Titanium plus laser?
Most people return to normal plans the same day. Mild redness or warmth for a day or two is common; the laser type and energy decide how much redness follows.
Which laser should I pair with a lifting treatment?
It depends on the concern: PicoSure toning for pigment, the GV laser for redness, and options like Potenza for texture and pores. The choice is made after a skin assessment.
