Korean Glass Skin Treatment Cost: How the Bill Adds Up, Visit by Visit

Most of my days go to lifting, laser and anti-ageing care, and a steady share of my patients come from abroad with a skin wish list.

The Korean glass skin treatment cost is something I am asked about almost every week, usually in the first minute of a consultation and usually by someone holding a screenshot. The honest answer is that there is no single price, because glass skin is a result built over a few visits. So in this post I break the bill down the way I would on paper, visit by visit, so you can budget before you fly.

What you are really paying for in a Korean glass skin treatment cost

What glass skin is, and the three-step combination I use to build it, is explained in my overview of the Korean glass skin treatment. This page only deals with the money. The price of each visit has three moving parts: the peel, the energy step, and the finish.

The peel is what most people picture when they hear glass skin. How Aqua Peel works and who it suits is covered in my guide to Aqua Peel in Korea, so here I will only say that the peel choice is the biggest single driver of the per-visit price.

One visit, a short course, or a whole season: three budgets

When patients ask for a number, I first ask what they want the glow for. The answer changes the budget far more than the brand of peel does.

• A single visit: for a wedding, a photoshoot or the last day of a trip. You pay for one package and get a dewy look for a few days.
• A short course: a few visits spaced one to two weeks apart, for people living in or returning to Seoul. The glow starts to hold between visits.
• A season of care: for skin that is reactive, congested and dehydrated at the same time. Here the combination changes as the skin calms down, so I price one visit at a time.

If you are only in Seoul for a few days, the first budget is the realistic one. I would rather you spend on one well-chosen visit than prepay for sessions you cannot come back for.

These are the real prices we charge. The package combines a peel, LDM for hydration and a modelling mask in one visit; the single treatments are listed so you can see what each part costs on its own.

LDM is the step people most often ask to drop to save money. For dehydrated or easily flushed skin it is the part that keeps the glow calm rather than red, which is why I explain it separately in my LDM guide.

Costs I would not pay, even at a discount

• A large prepaid bundle before any doctor has looked at your skin.
• Extra add-on steps that repeat what the peel already did.
• A stronger peel booked because it sounds more effective, when your skin is already irritated.
• Paying for sessions you cannot physically return for before your flight.

Budget check: five questions to answer before you book

Answer these honestly and you will know which budget you are in. Bring the answers to the consultation and the plan takes minutes, not an hour.

When I tell people to spend nothing

If your skin is in an active flare, freshly sunburnt, or you have just had a strong peel elsewhere, I will not add a glass skin visit on top. The same goes for anyone whose real concern is pigment or sagging: a hydrating facial will make that skin look fresher, but it will not change what is bothering you.

In those cases the honest cost is zero today. I will tell you what to treat first, and the glow can come later.
