Potenza Korea Reviews: Why Two People Can Describe Two Different Treatments Under One Name

I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director and lead physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam, near Sinnonhyeon Station. I came to aesthetic medicine from Korea University Medical Center and I am a member of the Korean Society for Laser Dermatology & Hair and the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Medicine, with my work centred on lifting, laser and anti-ageing. Patients who reach me for pores and scars have usually spent hours reading Potenza Korea reviews first.
The question I hear most often is a version of this: "Potenza Korea reviews say it is amazing and also a waste of money, so which is it?" The honest answer is that Potenza is not one fixed treatment. This page shows how I read those reviews, and how to tell whether a stranger's experience has anything to do with your skin.
Many tips, one name: the detail missing from most Potenza posts
Potenza combines microneedles with radiofrequency energy delivered into the dermis. Our system has fourteen tips, and the tip, needle depth and energy are chosen for the problem being treated. A reviewer who had a shallow pass for texture and one who had deeper work on scars went through two quite different experiences.
Yet most posts only say "I got Potenza". When a review does not mention the tip, the area or the concern, I read it as a general impression of the clinic rather than evidence about the treatment.
Match the reviewer's problem to yours before you trust the verdict
This table is how I would sort the reviews you have saved. Find the row that describes the reviewer, then check whether it also describes you.
Scar reviews are the hardest to compare, because scar type changes the whole plan. I explain why in my guide to Korean acne scar treatment by scar type.
Pain, numbing and the next morning in Seoul
Complaints about pain are common in Potenza reviews, and they are fair. Numbing cream goes on before treatment, but you will still feel prickling and warmth, more over bony areas and with deeper settings.
Most people go back to their day afterwards. Redness and a slightly rough feel can show for a short time, so I suggest keeping the evening free of photos. The week-by-week picture is in my Potenza before and after timeline.
A review tells you how someone else's skin met someone else's settings. I would rather read your skin than their story.— Dr. Hyunji Kim, Delphic Clinic
Messages to send a clinic before you book Potenza
Copy these and send them to every clinic on your list, including us. A clinic that answers clearly is usually one that plans clearly.
- Which tip would you use for my concern, and why that one?
- Who performs the treatment: the doctor, or someone else?
- Is the quoted price for the full face, and which tip does it include?
- Do you expect one session or a series for my skin, and how far apart?
- Is the price the same for international patients?
When I tell a patient Potenza is the wrong tool
- Active, inflamed acne: we calm the skin first, then plan scar work.
- Deep sagging along the jaw: a lifting treatment is the honest answer, not microneedling.
- Flat brown pigment as the main concern: a pigment laser is usually the more direct route.
- A trip with an important event the next day: the short-lived redness is not worth the risk.

4.7 · 260 Google reviewsI received ONDA lifting and Juvelook Skin treatment at Delpic Clinic. Before the procedure, Dr. K carefully examined my skin condition and explained everything in a kind and easy-to-understand way, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. During the treatment, I could really tell that Dr. K was highly skilled, so I felt confident and at ease throughout the entire process. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. It’s definitely a clinic I would love to visit again.
I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.

Frequently asked questions
Why are Potenza Korea reviews so mixed?
Potenza has many interchangeable tips and settings, and people book it for pores, acne scars or redness. Two reviews can describe a different tip, depth and goal, so their verdicts are not really about the same treatment.
Does Potenza hurt?
It is a microneedle treatment with radiofrequency, so most people feel prickling and heat. Numbing cream is applied beforehand, and how it feels depends on the area, the tip and the depth used.
What is the downtime after Potenza in Seoul?
Most people return to normal activities the same day. Redness and slight roughness can be visible for a short time, so plan photos and important meetings with that in mind.
What is Potenza pumping?
Pumping uses the CP25 tip, which delivers a solution into the skin alongside the RF energy. At Delphic it is a separate menu line from the standard N25 tip treatment.
Is one Potenza session enough?
For pores and acne scars, changes usually build across a planned series rather than from a single session. I decide the plan after examining your skin.
