Rejuran HB: The Comfort-Minded Version, and How It Differs From Painless Rejuran

"Is Rejuran HB the painless one?" is probably the question I hear most from first-time Rejuran patients who have read that it stings. The honest answer is: partly, but it is not the only comfort route, and it is not the same thing as a painless menu. Here I explain what changes in Rejuran HB, how it differs from our painless Rejuran line, and how I help people choose.

What the HB letters change inside the syringe

Standard Rejuran Healer uses polynucleotide (PN), derived from salmon DNA, to support repair of thin or tired skin. As the manufacturer describes HB, it adds hyaluronic acid to the mix and includes lidocaine, a local anaesthetic commonly used in injectable treatments. The aim is the same skin-quality work with a gentler feel during injection.

Two routes to comfort: a product version or a menu line

The practical difference for most patients is volume. HB is sold per 1cc, so it suits a focused session or a top-up. The painless menu is priced in 3cc and 6cc, so it suits people who want broader full-face coverage with comfort in mind, and it includes Rejuvelook, which pairs painless Rejuran 3cc with Juvelook Skin 2cc.

Pain-worry self-check before you choose

Rate each line from 0 (not me) to 2 (very me). It takes a minute, and it tells me more about how to plan your visit than any product name does.

• I have fainted or felt dizzy during injections or blood tests.
• I stopped a previous skin injection halfway because of discomfort.
• I want the whole face treated, not just one area.
• I am more worried about the bumps afterwards than the needle itself.
• I have reacted badly to a local anaesthetic before. (Score this and tell me directly; it changes what I can use.)

High scores on the first two lines mean comfort deserves real planning, through HB, the painless menu or both. A high score on the third points towards larger volumes. When I would steer you away from HB

• A known allergy or sensitivity to local anaesthetics: tell me first, because this rules out lidocaine-containing options.
• Deep depressed scars as the main concern: Rejuran S, usually with other scar tools, is the version I discuss.
• Thin skin only under the eyes: the eye version is designed for that area.
• Sagging or hollowing: no Rejuran version lifts tissue or restores volume.

Reading the HB and painless prices on our list

On our menu, Rejuran HB 1cc is 300,000 KRW at the regular price, and Rejuran HB+ 1cc appears at 169,000 KRW as an event price while that offer runs. Painless Rejuran is 350,000 KRW for 3cc and 600,000 KRW for 6cc. Locals and international patients pay the same.

Questions to ask about numbing on treatment day

• Which Rejuran version are you using today, and how many cc?
• How long will the numbing cream stay on before you start?
• Will the doctor perform the injections?
• What should I do if it becomes too uncomfortable halfway through?
• Is the price the same for international patients?
