For the ONDA treatment itself, no numbing cream was needed. The ONDA part was manageable, but I’ll be honest — the fat-dissolving injections were painful 🥲. They felt pretty much like getting regular injections, just… several of them 😂 After the treatment, I was totally fine to grab a coffee ☕️
First, what ONDA Body is not
I say this before anything else: ONDA is not a weight-loss treatment. It is for localised fat and shape, the pocket that stays put when the rest of you changes. Debbie described it as stubborn belly fat, which is the right kind of problem for this device.
If the goal were to drop a dress size overall, I would tell you so and we would not book it. That honesty is part of why we start with an assessment rather than a menu.

Debbie was right about the injections
I appreciate that Debbie didn't soften this. ONDA on the abdomen needed no numbing cream; most people feel a deep, spreading warmth and find it manageable. The injections are a different sensation, because they are injections, and several of them across an area.
Each one is quick, and I tell you before each pass so nothing comes as a surprise. If you are needle-shy, tell me at the consultation and we can talk about leaning on ONDA alone. Afterwards you can go about your day — as Debbie did, with a coffee.
What the abdomen plan costs
Prices are public and the same for every patient, Korean or international. The amount of injection solution depends on the area, so this is the menu price for the typical first-visit version of Debbie's plan rather than a figure from Debbie's bill:

When to judge the result
- First days: the area can feel warm or tender, and injection spots may be sore to the touch.
- Weeks to 2–3 months: the change in shape becomes clearer gradually as the tissue responds.
- Most body areas need more than one session; 1–3 is common depending on the area and goal.
- Staying at a stable weight helps the new contour hold.
The consultation, in a language you understand
Debbie mentioned that an interpreter stayed by Debbie's side from the skin analysis through the treatment. That matters more for body treatments than most, because we need to agree on exactly which area, and you need to be able to tell me how it feels while I'm working.

Does ONDA Body help with belly fat?
ONDA is designed for localised fat and contour, such as a lower-belly pocket that doesn't respond to diet. It heats fat cells with microwaves while keeping the skin cool. It is not a weight-loss treatment.
How much is ONDA Body in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, ONDA for one body area at 40kJ is ₩270,000 at the first-visit price and ₩400,000 on the regular menu, VAT excluded. International patients pay the same as Korean patients.
Does ONDA Body hurt?
ONDA is usually done without numbing cream, and most people feel deep warmth rather than sharp pain. Fat-dissolving injections, if added, feel like ordinary injections repeated across the area.
How many ONDA Body sessions do I need?
It depends on the area and goal, but 1–3 sessions is common. Changes become clearer over several weeks to 2–3 months, and we set a plan at the consultation.
Can I go out after ONDA Body and fat-dissolving injections?
Yes. Recovery is same-day for both, so you can return to normal plans. The area may feel warm or tender for a few days.
