“Can this replace a tummy tuck?” is the question Priscilla put on her reel, and it's one I answer in clinic with a careful “sometimes.” I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic in Sinnonhyeon, Gangnam. I trained at Korea University Medical Center, and I examine international patients myself before any body treatment. The short answer to her question
A tummy tuck removes skin and can repair separated abdominal muscles. ONDA and injections can't do either. What they can do is reduce a pocket of fat and tighten mildly lax skin, which for some people is the whole problem.
So the honest answer is that it depends on what's actually in front of me. If the concern is fat with a little looseness, a non-surgical plan can be a real alternative. If it's a hanging fold of skin, it isn't.
Three kinds of stomach I see in consultation

Why she waited two months to post
Priscilla showed her results after two months, and I wish more people did that. Right after treatment, swelling can hide any change. The body then clears treated fat cells over weeks, and tightening in the skin builds gradually.
That's why I ask patients not to judge anything in the first days. A photo taken in the same light and pose before treatment, and again after a couple of months, tells us far more than the mirror on day one.

How it feels, and the days after
- During ONDA: a deep, building warmth with the skin surface kept cool. Energy is adjusted whenever you say so.
- During injections: quick stings, with possible tenderness and small bruises afterwards.
- Same day: no incision and no general anaesthesia, so you can walk out and carry on.
- Following weeks: stable weight and normal activity help the treated area hold its shape.
