When someone sits down and says “I want a V-line like K-pop idols,” my first job is to find out what's actually softening their jaw. I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam. I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I consult international patients myself, and the V-line request is one I hear nearly every day. Ari came in nervous and left with Titanium lifting plus a few spots treated; here's what that combination does, what it costs, and when a different tool makes more sense.

In her own words
Literally achieved a snatch lifted look in 20 minutes 😍 this was such a crazy amazing experience. I tried titanium, lifting which one of my favorite lifting treatments. It’s a noninvasive laser based lifting treatment along with laser on targeted areas to remove any kind of pimple/acne/troubles that were up on my face. 💞💞 I was super nervous about the treatment, but the doctors are so kind
What makes a jawline look soft in the first place
A V-line can blur for several reasons: skin loosening, fat along the lower cheeks, a strong chewing muscle, or bone structure. Each needs a different answer, and only some are within reach of a laser.
Titanium is a skin-tightening treatment. It's a good fit when the skin itself has lost a bit of firmness and the outline has softened. It doesn't reshape bone or shrink a large muscle, and I'll say so at the consultation.
How Titanium works, in plain terms
Titanium fires three wavelengths together (755, 810 and 1064 nm) to heat the dermis. That heat encourages the skin to tighten and renew collagen, and many patients notice a brighter tone at the same time.
Because sessions are short and the surface is cooled by a sapphire tip, it's often where nervous first-timers start. I've covered titanium lifting for first-timers in more depth, along with which titanium lifting reviews are worth trusting.
Why she also had laser on her breakouts
Ari mentioned a few pimples and “troubles” that had flared up. Treating those spots in the same visit is practical for travellers, but the choice of laser depends on whether the spot is active, red or leaving a mark.
That's why I decide it in person rather than by menu. If you're dealing with breakouts more broadly, my piece on what acne laser treatment in Seoul fixes and what it won't is a good place to start.
For anyone as nervous as Ari was
- No anaesthetic injections are needed for Titanium.
- The sapphire tip cools the surface to about −3°C, so most people feel warm pulses rather than sharp heat.
- I adjust energy as we go, and you can ask me to pause at any time.
- Afterwards, redness, warmth or slight tenderness for a day or two is normal; makeup is fine the same day.
What Titanium costs at Delphic
We publish prices, and international patients pay the same as Korean patients. Here is the first-visit Titanium price; the spot laser depends on what we find.
- Titanium 40KJ (First-visit trial)₩340,000≈ $250
VAT excluded · identical for Korean and international patients · first-visit trial price (regular Titanium 40kJ ₩500,000) · the spot laser for breakouts is chosen at the consultation and priced separately · your final plan is confirmed at the free consultation.
Energy and area can change the total, and repeat sessions follow the regular menu. The details are in what actually sets the titanium lifting price.

Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- Your face looks less defined in photos than it used to
- You want a firmer outline without injections
- Your skin tone looks dull alongside the loss of firmness
- A few breakouts tend to flare when you travel
A good fit if
- Your jawline has softened because skin firmness has dropped
- You want tightening and a brighter tone in one short session
- You're nervous and want to start with a gentler lifting option
- You have only a day or two to spare for recovery
Not the right first step if: your jaw looks wide mainly because of a strong chewing muscle or bone structure, you're pregnant, have an active skin infection, or recently tanned — a different starting point fits better.

“If you want the V-line Ari described, send me a front and side photo first. I'll tell you honestly whether skin, fat or muscle is the main factor — and whether Titanium alone will do.”
Questions patients ask me about this
Can titanium lifting give a V-line face?
Titanium tightens skin and can make a softened jawline look more defined. It doesn't change bone or reduce a large chewing muscle, so the doctor first checks what is softening your jaw.
How much is titanium lifting in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, Titanium 40kJ is ₩340,000 at the first-visit price and ₩500,000 regular, VAT excluded. International patients pay the same as Korean patients.
How long does titanium lifting take?
A session usually takes 15–30 minutes. Including consultation, most visitors are in and out within an afternoon.
Does titanium lifting hurt?
Most people describe warm pulses rather than sharp pain, because a sapphire tip cools the skin surface to about −3°C. No anaesthetic injections are needed.
Can I treat pimples with laser on the same day as titanium lifting?
Often, yes. The doctor checks each spot and chooses a laser suited to active breakouts, redness or marks, then adds it to the same visit.
