Comparing Korea acid filler price quotes and wondering why the numbers swing so much, or whether yours will grow once you're in the chair?
Read this before you book the appointment or the flight.
By the end you'll know what decides the cost of hyaluronic acid filler, what reviews get right and wrong, which methods fit which area, and what recovery looks like on a short trip. That's enough to judge which plan fits your face and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, Director · Lead Physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam. My career includes Korea University Medical Center, and I'm a member of the Korean Filler Society.
At Delphic, Korean and international patients pay the same price, doctors perform the treatments themselves, and English and Chinese interpreters are on staff. Same-day treatment is possible, which matters when your days in Seoul are counted.
I wrote this because most confusion comes from comparing one per-syringe number between clinics, when what you actually pay is set by how much product your face needs.
The price of acid filler in Korea depends on four things: the product, the number of syringes, the area and how it's injected, and whether you'll want a touch-up before you fly. A quote that leaves out any of these is only half a number.
If you're already holding a quote, send it on WhatsApp with one question: how many syringes is this for, and which product?

Korea acid filler price: the five things that move it
Five things move the bill: how much product, which product, which area and technique, numbing, and how your trip is timed. The per-syringe number tells you the least on its own.
Amount: syringes, not visits
Hyaluronic acid filler is usually priced by the syringe. A shallow under-eye hollow may need a small amount, while a flat chin or a cheek that has lost volume usually takes more. Two areas on one face add up quickly, which is why the area comes before the number.
I've set out how much each area typically needs in my guide to Korean filler areas, products and amounts, so I won't repeat the per-area detail here.
Product: how firm the gel is, and whether it contains lidocaine
HA fillers differ in how tightly the gel is cross-linked. Firmer gels hold shape over bone, such as the chin or nose bridge. Softer gels spread under thin skin and in the lips. The product chosen for your area changes the cost, so two quotes for "one syringe" may not be quoting the same thing.
Lips follow their own logic, which I covered in what a lip filler price in Seoul actually covers.
Area and technique
Areas close to blood vessels, like under the eyes, around the nose and the forehead, call for slower injection with a fine needle or a blunt cannula. A plan for a delicate area is sometimes split over two visits so the first round can settle before more is added.
Numbing
Filler doesn't need general anaesthesia. Numbing cream before the injection and lidocaine mixed into the gel are the usual tools.
Your days in Seoul
The last factor is your calendar. If you can come in again before your flight, a small touch-up can be done in Korea. If you leave the day after, any extra product means a second trip. On the menu, prices are listed before VAT, and you can see the current filler menu on the Delphic Clinic English homepage.
To get the figure for your own face, send a front and side photo in daylight on WhatsApp and ask what it would cost for your case.

Methods: which acid filler for which concern
Filler replaces lost volume. It does not tighten loose skin or rebuild thin skin, so the first question is what's really causing the change you see.
Under the eyes, a true hollow over bone can suit a soft filler. Thin, crepey or dark skin there often does better with a skin booster, because adding gel under very thin skin can look puffy. If that's your situation, a booster may be the more useful spend, and I've explained what moves that cost in Rejuran Healer price in Korea.
For the chin, nose bridge and jawline, a firmer gel shapes the profile. For lips and fine areas, softer gels. For a flat midface, cheek filler restores support.
When sagging is the main issue, an energy-based lift is usually the better conversation; what decides titanium lifting cost in Korea walks through that alternative.
What do filler reviews get right, and what do they get wrong?
Reviews of filler in Seoul tend to repeat a few claims. Some hold up medically and some don't.
"It's cheaper in Korea, so get more." More product is rarely what makes a face look right.
"My face was lumpy the first week." This one is often true and usually not a problem. Early swelling and small irregularities are common and tend to settle within days to about two weeks. A firm lump that stays, or grows, should be checked.
"It didn't hurt at all" versus "it was agony." Both can be true. Lips are more sensitive than the chin, and lidocaine in the gel makes a real difference.
"It lasted for years" versus "it was gone in months." HA filler is temporary. How long it stays visible depends on the product, the area and how much the area moves, so a single review tells you little about your own face.
How much recovery time should you plan in Seoul?
Most people go back out the same day. Redness, swelling and some bruising are common for a few days, and swelling can look worse the morning after. For the first day or two, avoid pressing or massaging the area, hard exercise, saunas and heavy drinking.
Flying is generally not a problem for the filler itself, though a long flight can leave your face puffier. The bigger planning point is having a few days between injection and departure.
Say you land on a Thursday evening with five nights in Seoul, wanting your under-eye hollows and nasolabial folds treated. I'd put filler early in the trip rather than on your last day.
In that example, I'd also look hard at the under-eye skin. If it's thin and dark, I'd talk to you about a booster there and keep filler for the folds. Starting with one area on a short trip is often the more sensible choice.

4.7 · 260 Google reviewsI received ONDA lifting and Juvelook Skin treatment at Delpic Clinic. Before the procedure, Dr. K carefully examined my skin condition and explained everything in a kind and easy-to-understand way, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. During the treatment, I could really tell that Dr. K was highly skilled, so I felt confident and at ease throughout the entire process. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. It’s definitely a clinic I would love to visit again.
I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.

Who acid filler doesn't suit, and when a trip isn't worth it
Risks and side effects to know
The common reactions are temporary: redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and itching at the injection sites, usually fading over several days. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration also lists rare but serious risks, including accidental injection into a blood vessel, which can damage skin or affect vision. Infection, allergic reactions and lasting nodules are less common.
As general medicine, you should wait or skip filler if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, if there's an active infection, cold sore or acne flare at the site, if you've had a laser or peel on that area very recently, or if you're allergic to lidocaine or a filler ingredient. If you take blood thinners, expect more bruising, and don't stop them without your own doctor's advice.
If, after flying home, pain gets worse instead of better, the skin turns pale, blotchy or dusky, or your vision changes, get urgent medical care the same day. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises medical travelers to carry records of what was done, so ask for the product name and amount used. Healing differs from person to person, and whether filler suits you is confirmed when you're examined in person.
When you don't need to come
If what bothers you is fine lines in thin skin, a booster or skin care may serve you better than filler. If the main change is heavy sagging, filler is the wrong tool. And if you only want one small area touched up and have no other reason to be in Seoul, the trip may cost you more than the treatment does.
Questions to have answered before you agree to a filler quote
Keep this list on your phone and get each answer before you agree to a number:
- Which product is this, and does it contain lidocaine?
- How many syringes for each area, and what happens to the plan if less is needed?
- Needle or cannula for this area?
- Is the price before or after VAT?
- If I want a touch-up before my flight, how is extra product charged?
- Can I have the product name and amount used, for my doctor at home?
If a quote can answer all six, you can compare it with any other.
Planning your visit to Delphic
When you're ready, send a front and side photo with your travel dates on WhatsApp and ask one thing: which area would you start with? Your exact cost is shared one-on-one in a consultation, English and Chinese interpreters are on staff, and we're right by Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 3. When you come in, I'll examine your face and recommend the filler plan that fits it, or the booster or lifting option if that suits you better.
Frequently asked questions
Do international patients pay more for filler at Delphic?
No. Korean and international patients pay the same price at Delphic Clinic.
Can I have filler on the same day as my consultation?
Same-day treatment is possible, which helps on a short trip. Plan it early in your stay so swelling has a few days to settle before you fly.
Does hyaluronic acid filler hurt?
Most people feel pressure and some stinging. Numbing cream and lidocaine in the gel reduce it, and sensitive areas like the lips are usually felt more than the chin.
Can hyaluronic acid filler be reversed if I don't like it?
HA filler can generally be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. That's one reason HA gels are the common choice for first-time filler.
How long does acid filler last?
HA filler is temporary and the body breaks it down gradually. How long it stays visible depends on the product, the area and how much that area moves, so it varies between people.
Are the menu prices including VAT?
Menu prices are listed before VAT. Ask for the total for your own plan during the consultation.
