Thermage 600 shots cost Korea: is the full-face count worth paying for, or would a smaller area do the job for your skin? Read this before you compare another quote. You'll know what moves the figure, what results to expect, which risks to ask about and how other methods differ, so you can decide what fits your skin and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, Director and Lead Physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam, where I focus on lifting, laser and anti-aging.
Thermage FLX is one of the FDA-cleared lifting devices we have on site. Our doctors do the treatments themselves, and Korean and international patients pay the same price.
I wrote this because people often compare quotes by shot count alone, when the first question is whether their skin needs this treatment at all.
What you pay for 600 shots in Korea is set by what the quote contains: the area, the tip, any bundled treatments and whether VAT is included. Early, mild laxity can suit it, while heavy sagging is where I'd tell you not to buy it.
If you already hold a quote, send a bare-faced front photo on WhatsApp and ask what 600 shots would cost for your case, and whether a smaller area is worth considering.

Thermage 600 shots cost Korea: what does a quote actually cover?
A quote covers a number of radiofrequency pulses on a named area, using a tip made for that session. Two quotes showing the same shot count can still describe different treatments, so line them up item by item before you compare the totals.
Amounts change, so I leave them out of this article. For the arithmetic across shots and areas over time, see how shots, area and the year ahead add up, and for the wider picture, my Thermage FLX price and value guide. To get the figure for your own face, ask on WhatsApp what 600 shots would cost for your case.
What results should you expect from 600 shots, and when?
Expect gradual firming over months, with no dramatic change on the day you walk out. Some people feel a slight tightening right away, but the change that matters depends on collagen renewal, which takes time.
A review in Lasers in Surgery and Medicine describes monopolar radiofrequency as heating the dermis to stimulate collagen. If you're looking at a Thermage review written a week after treatment, keep that timing in mind.
The change is usually modest: firmer texture, slightly crisper contours, finer crepe. How long it lasts varies with age, skin and sun habits, so I won't give you a number of years. There's more on the treatment itself in my first-timer guide to Thermage in Korea.
Thermage risks: what are the "ruined my face" threads reacting to?
In short, those threads usually describe one of three things: a painful session, a burn or blister, or a face that seems thinner afterward. The first two are real possibilities. The third is harder to pin down, because skin and fat change with age and weight as well.
Risks and side effects to know
Redness, swelling and tenderness are common and usually settle within hours to a few days. Less often, people report temporary numb patches, sore spots, or small burns and blisters. Hollowing or dents have been described in reports, particularly with older techniques, and I can't tell you the risk is nil.
It's older data on earlier technique, so I read it as reassurance about the general pattern and nothing more. For how to weigh what people post, I've written about reading Thermage reviews by shot count.
These situations call for waiting or skipping it, and your doctor may add others:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- A pacemaker or other implanted electronic device
- Infection or inflammation in the treatment area
- A recent laser or peel in the same area, or recent isotretinoin use
- Metal implants near the treatment area, which you should raise before treatment
If something appears after you've flown home, take dated photos and keep your treatment record handy, including the device and shot count. See a local doctor for a blister, an open area, spreading redness or numbness that isn't improving. The CDC's medical tourism guidance advises arranging follow-up with a provider at home before you travel, so do that first.

4.7 · 260 Google reviewsI received ONDA lifting and Juvelook Skin treatment at Delpic Clinic. Before the procedure, Dr. K carefully examined my skin condition and explained everything in a kind and easy-to-understand way, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. During the treatment, I could really tell that Dr. K was highly skilled, so I felt confident and at ease throughout the entire process. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. It’s definitely a clinic I would love to visit again.
I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.
If one of those threads is what's holding you back, write that exact concern on WhatsApp, list any recent laser, peel or injectable treatments, and ask whether your timing matters.

When I'd tell you not to buy 600 shots
There are faces I'd steer away from this purchase, whatever the budget. Heat-driven tightening can firm loose texture, but it cannot lift heavy sagging, and paying for 600 shots won't change that.
I'd say no, or suggest something else, in these cases:
- Heavy jowls or deep folds, where you're hoping for a surgical-looking change
- Skin with no real laxity yet, where you'd be paying to treat a problem you don't have
- Pores, acne scars or pigment as your main complaint, where Potenza, Fraxel or PicoSure answer the question better
- Concern limited to the eyes, where an eye option may make more sense than a full-face count
- An event next week, since collagen renewal won't arrive in time
Say you're 38, with slight softening along the jaw and crepey cheeks. That's the kind of face where I'd have the Thermage conversation. Now say you're 58 with heavy jowls, and you've read that a large shot count can replace a facelift. It can't, and I'd say so before we discussed any device.
Which methods would I weigh against Thermage?
The choice depends on the depth of the problem. Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency to heat the skin, which suits crepey texture and mild looseness. These are the others I'd put beside it, each with its own trade-offs:
- Ultherapy delivers focused ultrasound down to the SMAS layer, so it's often considered for deeper laxity. It can be uncomfortable and may leave temporary tenderness or numbness.
- Onda uses microwave energy that generates deep heat, and it's known for facial slimming and firmness. That slimming effect may not suit a face that's already lean.
- Oligio and Shurink Universe are other energy-based options on my menu, and the same question about depth applies to them.
Combining two devices costs more and isn't automatically stronger for your face. Ask what each one is doing that the other can't.
One treatment day, and what it does to the trip
Thermage FLX is listed as a same-day return, so it doesn't need a long stay in itself. Same-day treatment is possible here, which means the days you pay for in Seoul are mostly your own choice.
Our hours shape the plan. We're open until 21:00 on weekdays and until 17:00 on Saturdays, and we're closed on Sundays, so a Sunday arrival leaves Monday as your first possible treatment day. Treatment length is advised at consultation, so ask before you fill the rest of the day. If you'd like a margin for redness or swelling before flying, leave a spare night.
The one-day packages may matter to your budget if you already want more than one treatment. One option pairs Ultherapy Prime 600 shots with Thermage FLX 600 shots, LDM and a modeling pack. It only makes sense if your face needs both. Our menu and location are on Delphic Clinic's English site.
Cost details are shared one-on-one in a consultation, so your first WhatsApp message can be short: one photo is enough, with the quote you're holding or the one area that bothers you, and the question of whether 600 shots is the right count for it. Interpreters are on site for English and Chinese, and we're directly connected to Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station. When you come in, the doctor examines your skin and recommends what fits.
Frequently asked questions
Does more shots always mean a stronger lift?
No. Shot count mainly reflects how much area is covered and how thoroughly. Past what your skin can respond to, extra shots add to the bill more than to the result, and they can't turn heavy sagging into a lifted face.
Does Thermage hurt?
Many people feel strong pulses of heat, particularly over bony areas such as the jawline and forehead. Discomfort varies from person to person, so ask about numbing and how the energy can be adjusted before you start.
How often would I repeat 600 shots?
There's no fixed schedule that suits everyone. Doctors often wait until the collagen response has had months to show before discussing another session, and the answer changes with age, skin and how you responded the first time.
Is the price different for foreigners in Korea at your clinic?
No. Korean and international patients pay the same price at Delphic Clinic. Our menu prices don't include VAT, so ask for the figure on that basis.
