“Natural” is the word I hear most from people asking about lifting, and Kain used it too. I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic in Sinnonhyeon, Gangnam. I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I consult international patients myself, and every week someone asks me which lifting option changes the face without looking done. Kain chose ONDA on its own and noticed the jawline most; this page explains why that area tends to respond, what the session is like, what it costs, and when ONDA isn't my pick.

In her own words
Finally tried Onda lifting at Delphic Clinic in Sinnonhyeon ✨ The consultation was detailed, the clinic atmosphere felt very professional, and the whole process was much more comfortable than I expected. My skin looked tighter, smoother, and more refreshed afterwards — especially around the jawline.
Why the jawline is where ONDA shows first
Kain noticed the change most around the jawline, and that's typical. The lower face often carries a little extra fullness on top of loosening skin, and that combination is exactly what ONDA addresses.
ONDA's Coolwaves microwaves heat the deeper fat layer while the skin surface stays cool. Fat cells shrink in volume and the dermis tightens, so the outline under the jaw can look cleaner without adding anything to the face.
What “natural” lifting means in practice
Nothing is injected and nothing is cut, so the face keeps its own proportions. The change tends to be subtle at first and builds as collagen renews over the following weeks.
If you're weighing devices, I've explained how ONDA slims and firms a heavy face and compared it with other lifts in my ONDA first-timer guide.
The detailed consultation Kain mentioned
Before any lifting, I look at where volume sits, how much the skin has loosened, and how strong the chewing muscle is. That decides whether ONDA, a different device, or a combination fits.
Kain went with ONDA alone. Some patients need more than one tool, and some need less. That conversation is free and comes before any decision.
Why it felt more comfortable than expected
- The handpiece cools the skin surface while the heat works deeper.
- Most people describe a strong, spreading warmth rather than sharp pain.
- No anaesthetic injections are needed, and I adjust energy as we go.
- You can walk out afterwards and carry on; slight warmth or swelling is common for a short while.
What ONDA for the face costs
We publish our prices, and international patients pay the same as Korean patients. Here is the first-visit price for ONDA on the face.
- ONDA Lifting (Face) 40kj (First-visit trial)₩270,000≈ $200
VAT excluded · same price for Korean and international patients · first-visit trial price (regular ONDA face 40kJ ₩400,000; 60kJ first visit ₩390,000) · Kain's energy level isn't stated, so this is the menu price for the typical first-visit option · your plan is confirmed at the free consultation.
Higher energy or additional areas change the price. If you're budgeting for a trip, my ONDA cost guide breaks it down before you book.

Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- Your jawline looks less sharp in side photos
- Your lower cheeks look heavier than they used to
- You want tighter skin without changing your features
- You've been curious about lifting but put off by pain stories
A good fit if
- Your jawline looks softer because of a mix of fullness and mild skin loosening
- You want a natural change with no injections or incisions
- You'd like a treatment that lets you carry on with your day
- You prefer a detailed consultation before choosing a device
Not the right first step if: your face is already very lean, the main issue is a strong chewing muscle or bone structure, you're pregnant, or you have a pacemaker or metal implants in the area — another approach suits you better.

“Send me a side-profile photo before your trip. I'll tell you honestly whether ONDA is the right lift for your jawline or whether something else would do more.”
Questions patients ask me about this
Does ONDA lifting tighten the jawline?
ONDA heats the deeper fat layer and tightens the dermis, so it suits a jawline softened by a mix of fullness and mild laxity. It doesn't change bone or reduce the chewing muscle.
How much is ONDA lifting for the face in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, ONDA face 40kJ is ₩270,000 at the first-visit price and ₩400,000 regular, VAT excluded. International patients pay the same price as Korean patients.
Does ONDA lifting hurt?
Most people feel a strong, spreading warmth while the skin surface is kept cool. No anaesthetic injections are needed, and energy is adjusted during the session.
Is there downtime after ONDA lifting?
You can return to daily life the same day, and makeup is usually fine the same day. Mild warmth or swelling can occur briefly.
When do ONDA results show?
Some people notice tighter skin soon after, and further change tends to build over weeks as the treated tissue remodels. How long it lasts depends on age, skin and weight stability.
