Juvelook recovery time: if you have seven days in Seoul, which day should the injection go on so the bumps are gone before your flight and your photos? If the hotel is booked and the treatment day isn't, the day-by-day table below is the thing to plan around. It covers what the first evening, the next three days and the first week look like, what you can do on each of them, and why the change you came for keeps arriving after you're home.
Hello, I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, Director · Lead Physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam. My background is Korea University Medical Center, and I'm a member of the Korean Society for Laser Dermatology & Hair and the Korean Filler Society.
Juvelook is on our skin-booster menu, on its own and inside one-day packages with other boosters, and same-day treatment is possible, which helps when your calendar is fixed. We're open until 9 pm on weekdays and until 5 pm on Saturdays, closed on Sundays, and a medical interpreter for your language comes at no extra charge.
Most people plan around the bumps and forget the longer clock: what you see on day three is the injection, and the firmer, smoother skin Juvelook is meant for shows up weeks later.
For most people the visible recovery is short: small raised bumps and redness for one to three days, and a bruise, if one appears, that fades over about a week. Booking it in the first half of your trip usually leaves enough room.
Send your arrival and departure dates on WhatsApp with one bare-faced photo in daylight, and ask which day of your trip Juvelook should go on.

Why the bumps aren't the result
Juvelook combines PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) particles with hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid adds some immediate moisture and plumpness. The PDLLA particles are the slow part: as they're gradually broken down, the skin responds by building collagen around them, and that process takes weeks.
The bumps you see right after treatment are mostly the injected fluid sitting in the skin before it spreads out and is absorbed. They say nothing about whether the treatment worked. That's why the timeline in what the realistic change looks like over the following weeks and months matters more than the mirror on your last day in Seoul. It's also why I've written about why so many Juvelook verdicts are written too early: judging at day five tells you about recovery, not results.
Day by day: what you'll likely see and what you can do
In short, this is the general pattern for skin-booster injections like Juvelook. Use it as a planning tool, then adjust with your own skin in mind.
Two things in that table catch travelers out. The first is heat: a jjimjilbang evening on day two is exactly what you'd postpone, because heat and sweating can prolong swelling and irritation. The second is makeup: most people can wear it the next day, but pressing a sponge hard over the injection points on the first evening isn't a good idea.
Putting it on your calendar
Say you land at Incheon on a Thursday evening and fly home the following Wednesday. Airport buses stop near Sinnonhyeon Station, and the clinic is directly connected to Exit 3, so a Friday appointment works even after a late night. We're open until 9 pm on weekdays. Saturday gives the bumps a day to settle, Sunday the clinic is closed anyway, and by Monday most people's skin looks ordinary. Tuesday is your buffer, and Wednesday you fly.
Now say the only day you can manage is Saturday. That still works, but note that Saturday hours end at 5 pm, and if you're adding a laser or another booster the same day, the recovery follows the stronger of the two. The day before your flight is the one slot I'd steer you away from: the bumps will travel with you, and they tend to feel more noticeable after hours in dry cabin air.
If your plan includes a series, the second session will probably happen on a later trip or at home.
If you have a date when you can't look bumpy, such as a wedding, a work video call or a dinner, send it with your itinerary on WhatsApp and ask whether Juvelook fits before it.

What changes the cost
The figure moves with the amount used and how many areas are treated, whether Juvelook goes in alone or as part of a package (our menu also pairs Juvelook Skin with Rejuran), how many sessions you plan to do in Korea, and whether you add another treatment the same day. You can see the skin-booster and one-day package menu on our English homepage. For your own number, ask on WhatsApp with your photo and the areas that bother you.
Who should wait, and what can go wrong
Risks and side effects to know
Common and short-lived: bumps, redness, mild swelling, tenderness and pinpoint bruises over the first few days. Less common: small firm nodules you can feel under the skin, sometimes noticed a few weeks later. Infection is uncommon.
How quickly each person's skin settles differs, so treat the days above as a typical pattern.
I'd ask you to wait if you have an acne cyst, cold sore or skin infection in the area, if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, if you've taken isotretinoin recently, if you've had a strong laser or peel on the same area in the last couple of weeks, or if you have an autoimmune condition that's flaring or a history of granulomas.
Juvelook also doesn't suit every goal. If you want volume you can see the same day, filler is the tool for that. If your main issue is sagging, a lifting treatment fits better. And deep rolling or boxcar acne scars usually need more than one method; the American Academy of Dermatology notes that many scars respond best to combined treatments. My first-timer guide to Juvelook covers who it does suit, and how I use Juvelook to rebuild skin from the inside goes deeper into the method.
Once you're home, see a dermatologist if a lump becomes firm, red, painful or larger, or if redness spreads after day three, and take your product name, amount and treatment date with you.

4.7 · 260 Google reviewsI received ONDA lifting and Juvelook Skin treatment at Delpic Clinic. Before the procedure, Dr. K carefully examined my skin condition and explained everything in a kind and easy-to-understand way, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. During the treatment, I could really tell that Dr. K was highly skilled, so I felt confident and at ease throughout the entire process. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. It’s definitely a clinic I would love to visit again.
I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.
Send one bare-faced daylight photo and your flight dates on WhatsApp, and ask the question that matters for your plans: “If I want a second session later, should it be in Seoul, or can I plan it for my next trip?” The one-on-one consultation is free, a medical interpreter for your language is there at no extra charge, and the clinic sits right at Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station with weekday hours until 9 pm.

Frequently asked questions
Can I wear makeup the day after Juvelook?
Usually yes. Light makeup the next day is fine for most people, applied gently without pressing hard over the injection points. On the treatment evening itself, leave the skin bare and clean.
When can I go to a sauna or jjimjilbang?
It's usually wise to wait until after the first week. Heat and heavy sweating can prolong swelling and irritate the injection points, so put the spa evening at the end of the trip or on the next one.
Will a long flight make the swelling worse?
Long hours of sitting can make mild swelling feel puffier, and dry cabin air can leave treated skin feeling tight. Moisturize, drink water and avoid alcohol on board.
I can feel a small lump a month later. Is that normal?
A tiny, soft area you can feel but not see, which slowly fades, is often the product settling. A lump that's firm, red, tender or growing, especially one that appears months later, needs a doctor to examine it. Bring your treatment record.
Can I combine Juvelook with a laser on the same trip?
Often, yes, and some one-day packages combine boosters with other treatments. The recovery follows the stronger treatment, so if you add a laser, allow for its downtime as well when you set your flight date.
