Worried that a Korea Rejuran recovery program won't fit between landing in Seoul and your flight home, or that you'll board with a face full of small bumps? Read this before you lock in your dates. You'll know how many days each session takes out of a trip, what decides the cost, what reviews get right and wrong, and which Rejuran method suits your skin, so you can tell whether one trip is enough for your concern and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, Director and Lead Physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam. My background is Korea University Medical Center, and I'm a member of the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Medicine and the Korean Filler Society. How many days Rejuran really takes is a question visitors bring to my consultation room often.
At Delphic, the doctor performs the treatment, same-day treatment is possible, and foreign patients pay the same price as Korean patients. English and Chinese interpreters are on site, and we sit directly at Exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station.
I'm writing this because many people plan Rejuran like a one-off facial: one session on the last afternoon, then an expectation of the full effect by the time they land at home.
Each Rejuran session usually needs about 1–3 days for the injection bumps to settle, and sessions are spaced 2–3 weeks apart. So a trip of a week or so fits one session; a full course is something you plan across visits.
If you're unsure whether one session is worth building a trip around, send a bare-skin photo taken in daylight and your flight dates on WhatsApp, along with the one thing about your skin you'd most like to change.

How many days does each Rejuran session take out of a trip?
Rejuran is injected as many tiny deposits into the upper layer of the skin. Each one sits as a small raised bump at first, a bit like a row of mosquito bites, and flattens as the gel spreads and absorbs. Our menu lists downtime of about 1–3 days for this. For most people the first evening looks the most textured, and by the second or third day most of it has gone down. Small bruises can take longer, especially under the eyes, where skin is thin.
The part travelers miss is the second clock. Rejuran is polynucleotide (PN) derived from salmon DNA, and the aim is for the skin to repair itself over the weeks after the injection, not in the hours after it. A systematic review of polynucleotides in aesthetic medicine gathered trials that generally used a series of treatments and assessed skin quality over weeks. Our menu recommends 2–3 weeks between sessions. So the day you look ready for photos and the day your skin has actually changed are different days.
Fitting a Korea Rejuran recovery program into one trip or several
Here is how trip length maps to what can sensibly fit. The 1–3 day downtime and the 2–3 week interval come from our menu; the rest is planning.
Say you're flying in from Sydney for eight days, and what bothers you is fine, crepey lines under the eyes plus rough, dull texture on the cheeks. I would put the session early in the trip, on a weekday or Saturday since we're closed on Sundays, and keep the next two evenings low-key. Thin, crepey under-eye skin often does better with a booster than with filler, so I'd lean toward Rejuran Eye there and Rejuran Healer on the cheeks. I wouldn't squeeze a second session into eight days, because that breaks the 2–3 week spacing. The second one belongs on your next trip.
If you expect to come back to Seoul every few months, I've written about planning a Rejuran course around repeat trips. And if you're tempted to add a mole removal to the same visit, keep in mind that it heals as a small wound on its own schedule, which I describe in the healing nobody photographs after mole removal.

4.7 · 260 Google reviewsI received ONDA lifting and Juvelook Skin treatment at Delpic Clinic. Before the procedure, Dr. K carefully examined my skin condition and explained everything in a kind and easy-to-understand way, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. During the treatment, I could really tell that Dr. K was highly skilled, so I felt confident and at ease throughout the entire process. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. It’s definitely a clinic I would love to visit again.
I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The clinic is very clean and modern, and the whole process felt professional and well-organized. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.
Once you know your trip length, message us on WhatsApp with your landing and departure times plus one front and one side photo, and ask whether one session or two fits between them.

Which Rejuran methods fit which skin?
The choice is about area and skin type. Rejuran Healer is what most people mean when they say Rejuran: it's used across the face for rough texture, dullness and fine lines. Rejuran Eye is a separate product made for the thinner skin under the eyes.
Our menu also has Rejuvelook, which combines 3cc of Rejuran with 2cc of Juvelook Skin, a PDLLA-based booster, for skin that needs repair plus some collagen support. And there's a One-Day Skin Booster package that pairs Rejuran Healer 4cc and Rejuran Eye 2cc with LDM in hydration-soothing mode and a modeling pack, all in one visit. For a short trip, a single visit like that keeps the downtime in one block.
What Rejuran can't do is lift. If your jawline has dropped, that's a question for a lifting device, and the recovery and aftercare after Ultherapy runs on a different timeline from a booster. I design the plan around your skin condition, so the product list comes after I've looked at what your skin needs.
What decides the cost of a Rejuran course?
Five things move the number for your case:
- Which product: Rejuran Healer, Rejuran Eye, or a combination such as Rejuvelook.
- How much: the number of cc, which depends on how many areas you treat.
- How many sessions you plan across your trips.
- Whether you take it as part of a one-day package with LDM and a mask.
- VAT, which our menu prices don't include.
Foreign patients pay the same menu price as Korean patients. You can see the treatment menu on Delphic Clinic's English site. For a figure that fits your own face, ask on WhatsApp what your plan would cost, with a photo of the areas you want treated.
What reviews get right, and what they get wrong
“It stings.” True. Rejuran means many small injections, and numbing cream is commonly applied first, but most people still feel it, more so under the eyes.
Risks and side effects to know
“The bumps were gone overnight.” Sometimes, often not. Plan for 1–3 days, and longer for bruises.
“One session did nothing.” Partly expected. The research looks at a series of treatments, and change shows over weeks. A single session on a short trip is a start.
“It's made from salmon.” Accurate: PN is derived from salmon DNA, which matters if you have a fish allergy. I go through the three complaints I hear most about Rejuran in Korea in more detail.
What can go wrong after you fly home?
The common reactions are temporary: raised bumps, redness, tenderness and small bruises at injection points, usually settling within 1–3 days. The flight itself doesn't change that, though cabin air is dry, so a plain moisturizer helps.
As general medicine, these are reasons to wait or skip Rejuran:
- an active infection, acne flare or cold sore in the area
- a recent laser treatment or peel on the same skin
- taking isotretinoin
- pregnancy or breastfeeding
- an allergy to salmon, fish or any ingredient
- blood thinners, which raise the chance of bruising
If redness spreads after you're home, or the area gets warmer and more painful instead of calmer, or you develop a fever, see a doctor locally the same day; infection needs hands-on care. The CDC's medical tourism guidance suggests telling your doctor at home about your plans and keeping copies of your records, which helps here. Recovery differs between people, and whether Rejuran suits you is decided at the in-person exam.
When I'd tell you not to book Rejuran this trip
If your main concern is heavy sagging, Rejuran is the wrong tool. If you have a wedding or photoshoot within three days of the only possible session date, move one or the other. If you need a finished result before your flight, a booster course won't give you that. And if your skin is already in good shape and you're only curious because Rejuran is trending, it has little to fix.
Questions to send before you book
Copy these into your first message:
- Which Rejuran product, and how many cc, would suit my areas?
- With my landing and departure dates, which day should the session fall on?
- Does anything I've had recently (a laser, a peel, acne medication) change the timing?
- What would this plan cost for my case, with VAT?
When you're ready, send one bare-skin photo and whichever of these questions matters most to you on WhatsApp. When you come in, I examine your skin and recommend the Rejuran plan that fits your face and your dates.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fly the day after a Rejuran session?
Flying doesn't interfere with the injections themselves. The bumps may still be visible on day one or two, and cabin air is dry, so bring a plain moisturizer. If you want to look settled on arrival, leave 1–3 days between the session and the flight.
When can I wear makeup again after Rejuran?
Doctors generally advise leaving the injection points alone on the day of treatment, since they are tiny open entry points. Ask about makeup timing at your visit, and plan a bare-faced first evening.
Is Rejuran an option if I'm allergic to fish?
Rejuran's polynucleotide is derived from salmon DNA, so a fish or salmon allergy is something to raise before treatment. It may mean a different booster is the safer choice for you.
How many sessions do people usually plan?
Studies on polynucleotides generally use a series of treatments rather than one. Our menu recommends 2–3 weeks between Rejuran sessions, so travelers often spread the series over several trips. The number that fits your skin is set after the exam.
Can I combine Rejuran with a lifting treatment on the same trip?
Delphic offers one-day packages that combine lifting, toning and skin boosters in a single day. Whether a combination makes sense for your skin and your dates is decided after the doctor examines you.
What's the difference between Rejuran Healer and Rejuran Eye?
Rejuran Healer is used across the face for texture, dullness and fine lines. Rejuran Eye is made for the thinner under-eye skin, where crepey texture is the common concern.
