Titanium Lifting in Gangnam: Danielle's Honest Review, From the 3D Scan to the Fresh Look, With the Doctor's Notes
Danielle (@danielleyspace) called the 3D skin analysis “a hard watch” and the Titanium session surprisingly quick. Here's why the scan looks so dramatic, what Titanium does, and who it suits.

Almost everyone winces when their skin scan comes up on the screen, and Danielle was refreshingly honest about it. I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director of Delphic Clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam. I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I consult and treat our international patients personally. Two questions follow nearly every scan I show: “Is my skin really that bad?” and “What's the quickest thing that will actually help?” This page answers both through Danielle's visit — what the 3D analysis is really showing, why Titanium was a sensible first step, what it costs, and when I'd choose something else.

In her own words
I tried their 3D skin analysis, which was honestly a hard watch 😅 Seeing all the details and what’s actually going on with your skin is not for the weak! I also had the Titanium lifting treatment, which was surprisingly quick and gave me that fresh, lifted look almost instantly.
Why a skin scan feels like “a hard watch”
A 3D analysis photographs the face under different light settings and magnifies what a mirror smooths over: pores, fine lines, uneven pigment below the surface, patches of dehydration. Seen that large and that sharp, almost anyone's skin looks worse than it does across a dinner table.
So I always tell patients the scan is a map, not a verdict. Its value is that it lets us agree on priorities with something objective in front of us, instead of guessing. I've written about what a Seoul skin analysis shows and how it turns into a plan.
From the map to one treatment
A scan can surface ten things at once, and the worst plan is trying to fix all ten in one visit. With Danielle the goal was a fresher, lifted look in a short session, which pointed to a single device rather than a stack of treatments.
Titanium fits that brief because it addresses firmness and skin quality together. It fires three laser wavelengths — 755, 810 and 1064 nm — at the same time to warm the dermis, and many patients notice a brighter tone alongside the tightening.
Why the session was over so fast
- Treatment time is typically 15–30 minutes, depending on the area and mode.
- A sapphire contact tip cools the skin surface to around −3°C, so most people feel warm pulses rather than sharp heat.
- No anaesthetic injections are needed, so there's no waiting for numbing to take effect.
- Cleansing and makeup are fine the same day, so you can walk straight back into your plans.
The “fresh, lifted look almost instantly” Danielle describes is common. Some of it is genuine tightening as heated collagen contracts, and some is mild swelling that settles. The steadier change builds over the following weeks, which I cover in my piece on titanium lifting before and after.
What Titanium costs here
Our prices are published and identical for Korean and international patients. The common first-visit option is Titanium 40kJ:
- Titanium 40KJ (First-visit trial)₩340,000≈ $250
VAT excluded · the same price for Korean and international patients · regular price Titanium 40kJ ₩500,000 · this is the menu price for the typical first-visit option; the exact energy is set at the free consultation.
The caption doesn't state the energy Danielle received, so treat this as our menu price for the usual first-visit option rather than the exact bill. A 60kJ session or repeat visits follow the regular menu, and I explain what decides the titanium lifting cost in Korea separately.
When I would pick something else
If the scan shows that pigment is the main issue, a lift won't fix it. If the lower face is heavy with fat rather than loose, a device that works on the fat layer may make more sense. And if someone wants a dramatic change from one session, I'd rather reset that expectation than book them in.

Is this for you?
Who this combination genuinely suits
Signs it may be time
- Your skin looks dull and tired even after a good night's sleep
- Makeup sits on fine lines more than it used to
- You want to understand your skin before choosing any treatment
- You've never had a lifting treatment and want a gentle first one
A good fit if
- You want firmer skin and a brighter tone from a short session
- You're early in noticing loosening and fine lines rather than heavy sagging
- You'd like the plan based on a skin analysis rather than a guess
- Your schedule in Seoul leaves little room for downtime
Not the right first step if: your main concern is pigment, active acne or a heavy, fat-driven lower face, or you're pregnant or have an active skin infection in the area.

“If you're curious what a scan would show, send me a photo before your trip. I'll tell you honestly whether Titanium is worth it for you or whether something else should come first.”
Questions patients ask me about this
How much is titanium lifting in Korea?
At Delphic Clinic, Titanium 40kJ is ₩340,000 at the first-visit price and ₩500,000 regularly; Titanium 60kJ is ₩700,000, all VAT excluded. Korean and international patients pay the same.
How long does titanium lifting take?
The treatment itself usually takes 15–30 minutes. Add time for a skin analysis and consultation if it's your first visit.
Does titanium lifting hurt?
Most patients describe warm pulses rather than pain. A sapphire contact tip cools the skin surface to about −3°C, and no anaesthetic injections are needed.
What does a 3D skin analysis show?
It photographs the skin under different light settings to map pores, fine lines, hidden pigment and hydration. It's a tool for setting priorities, and the doctor still decides the plan with you.
Is there downtime after titanium lifting?
Usually very little. Mild redness, warmth or tenderness can last 1–2 days, and you can cleanse and wear makeup the same day.
