I'm Dr. Hyunji Kim, director and lead physician at Delphic Clinic in Gangnam, one minute from Sinnonhyeon Station. I trained at Korea University Medical Center and I am a member of the Korean Filler Society and the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Medicine. Lifting, laser and anti-ageing care are my main work, and I perform filler injections myself.
International patients ask me about Korean filler brands in nearly every filler consultation, usually because a Seoul price list shows several brands at quite different prices. They want to know whether the cheaper one is a compromise and whether they will actually get the brand they paid for. This page answers both, using the brands we actually use.
The brand names you will see on a Korean filler menu
Korean clinic menus list filler by brand and by volume, usually in 1cc units. On ours you will see three names. Juvederm is Allergan's filler line. Belotero is an imported filler we list for wrinkles and the under-eye. Rejuviel is a Korean-made filler from the maker of Rejuran.
All three are hyaluronic acid fillers, which means they are gradually absorbed over time and can be dissolved if needed. What differs is the gel itself and how it behaves once placed.
Imported or Korean-made: what the label difference really means
Patients often assume imported means better and Korean-made means cheaper. In practice, the useful differences are in how firm or soft the gel is, how much it spreads, and how well it suits a thin area versus one that needs structure. A Korean-made filler placed well in the right area can be the better choice for that area.
Country of origin is a reasonable question to ask, but it is not a quality verdict. The better question is why this brand for this area.
Brand by area: where I tend to reach for each one
How much product each area actually needs, and why the Korean approach usually starts with less, is in my guide to Korean filler areas, products and amounts.
Why the cheapest brand on the menu is not automatically the right one
Price differences between brands reflect the product, not your result. A lower-priced brand can be exactly right for lips or a chin, and a higher-priced one can be the wrong gel for a thin under-eye. I would rather choose the brand for the area and then show you the price, than the other way round.
These are our real filler prices by brand, including first-visit trial prices. International patients pay the same as Korean patients.

The brand on the box matters. The hand holding the syringe matters more.— Dr. Hyunji Kim, Delphic Clinic
Seeing the box: how to confirm the brand on the day
Copy these into your message to any clinic before booking, and ask them again in the room.
- Which filler brand will you use for my area, and why that one?
- Can I see the sealed box and syringe label before you start?
- Will the brand and amount be written on my treatment record?
- Who will inject: the doctor I consulted with, or someone else?
- If I am unhappy with the result, can it be dissolved, and what does that cost?
For what else to check in an injector, beyond the brand, see what to look for in Korea filler experts reviews.
Faces where no brand is the answer
- Sagging skin, where filler adds weight instead of lift. A lifting plan comes first.
- Someone who already has a lot of filler and wants more. Sometimes the right step is less.
- Active skin infection, a cold sore or inflammation in the area.
- Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, or with a history of reactions to fillers.

I had a really great experience at Delphic Clinic. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly in English and didn’t try to oversell unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clinic, especially if you’re a foreigner looking for a trustworthy place in Korea.

Frequently asked questions
Which Korean filler brands are used at Delphic Clinic?
We use Juvederm, Belotero and Rejuviel, all hyaluronic acid fillers. The brand is chosen for the area and the effect you need, and you can see the box before treatment.
Is Korean-made filler worse than imported filler?
Not automatically. Korean-made and imported hyaluronic acid fillers differ in how firm or soft the gel is and how it behaves in different areas. The right choice depends on the area and the injector's plan more than on country of origin.
What is Rejuviel filler?
Rejuviel is a hyaluronic acid filler made by the Rejuran maker. At Delphic we use it for areas such as the front and side cheeks, nasolabial folds, chin, marionette lines and lips.
How can I check which filler brand is used?
Ask before treatment to see the sealed box and syringe label, and to have the brand written on your record. A clinic using what it quoted will show you without hesitation.
Can hyaluronic acid filler be dissolved if I don't like it?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme injection. At Delphic, filler dissolving is priced per area on our menu.
